Cowboys Jason Garrett has not committed to Ezekiel Elliott‘s role this week, though the Seahawks already expect a big dose of the star running back in his return from a suspension. Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan confirmed Thursday that the Cowboys will use Elliott a lot Sunday.

“I think we’re going to have significant touches,” Linehan said, via Todd Archer of ESPN. “He looks like he’s in great shape. Practicing great. He just looks great. So he’s one of those guys that trains and prepares for the games. I think he’s ready to roll.

You got that right. Maybe they will and maybe they wont. I was debating a couple of guys on another board before last year's playoff game against the Packers. We all agreed that they needed to feed Zeke all night long. The difference was that they were convinced he would get 30 carries. I said he should but with this coaching staff I had no confidence that he would. One guy said "He will. Garrett is too smart not to". I forget how many carries he got but I think it was less than 20. Something like 17?

And it wasn't just because they fell behind early. They weren't giving him sufficient carries on the 1st three drives either IMHO.
