I know some people around here use Linux, myself included. This thread is for those who proudly use the non-MS, non-Mac operating systems to announce themselves. What distro of Linux do you use and what do you primarily use it for (desktop, server, music, encoding, etc).

I myself use CentOS for research purposes at home and school. I have dabbled with Ubuntu and OpenSuse, but I enjoy the haste of bug support from RedHat.

I've used RedHat for many years. I'm about to have to get HP-UX certified for work. I head to Chicago in June for the first training, should be fun.

My home server is running slackware. Don't remember which version, just one of the releases on the 2.6 kernel.

I use Fedora and Ubuntu at work, and use Ubuntu full -time at home now that WINE plays the games I play.

I run Ubuntu...On a Mac Pro lol.
