Lions CB Terrion Arnold arrested for robbery and kidnapping

Horrifying: The Tampa Police released the full story surrounding Terrion Arnold's arrest in connection with armed robbery and kidnapping.

Police say Lions CB Terrion Arnold orchestrated an armed robbery and kidnapping after believing several people had stolen property from an Airbnb he rented — even though investigators later determined the victims had nothing to do with the theft.

According to police, two women allegedly lured the victims to a Tampa apartment, where two armed suspects hiding in a closet jumped out, held them at gunpoint, beat them, and robbed them. Investigators say the attack was livestreamed to Arnold, who allegedly gave directions through a group chat before arriving at the apartment while the robbery was still underway.

Police say the victims were later forced into their own vehicle at gunpoint before being released.

Arnold turned himself in on Wednesday night and is facing 4 counts of kidnapping and 4 counts of armed robbery.

Sounds like how OJ eventually got busted except here the victims didn't actually steal anything. Threw away his career for nothing.

The men told police that Arnold's friends lured them to an apartment, held them at gunpoint and hit them, all the while streaming the attack to Arnold. Police said Arnold was giving orders in a group chat and later arrived at the apartment.

Feel like this part should be very easy to prove or disprove based off the technology these days. Cellphone pings, possible ability of proof of that group chat in digital form or someone taking pics of it etc...

What an idiot to throw his career away trying to take "justice" in his own hands. Sucks your **** got stolen, but don't commit felonies to try to get it back.

On the football side. I think he was a bust with or without this situation.
Even if he was a bust, he got first round money. Kidnapping is serious, and he could get a lot of time. He might have thrown away his life. I'm not even sure if that guaranteed money is still guaranteed for something like this. He royally screwed himself.

Jerry will be wanting to sign this guy as soon as he is available.

He loves idiot players.

I honestly don't know how he got off with no time when I believe he was actually driving the car.
Having money means having good representation. If there's any wiggle room, they'll find it. Maybe a plea deal. But if kidnapping sticks, this will be a career ender.

A Florida judge found probable cause for Lions CB Terrion Arnold to face charges of armed robbery and kidnapping, but denied prosecutors' motion that he be held without bond Monday.

The state asked the judge to require Arnold to wear a GPS tracking device, but his attorneys argued that he would not be able to play football with such a device.
