Stanback.

Scandrick's the CB.

Yes I noticed that after I posted it, but got a phone call, and didn't get to correct it.

Thanks.

No sweat, I've done it dozens of times myself.

Sure, I'd take him. Why not? He had 1086 yards just a couple of years ago -- more than TO had last year.

after him throwing the ball at the star with the handicapped kids there I have no respect for him. It is one thing to celebrate, but he could have hurt any of those kids with that ball.:bang2:

He's a UNI Panther, so I have to root for him wherever he goes.

But at the same time, **** Mike Furrey.

Good post.
TO only had 1,052 last year.
(no Romo for 3 games).

You are money, dog!

I never said he was a world beater, just that he got 1000 yards. Which means he has to be at least pretty good.

Didn't he lead the NFC in receptions that year? Martz or no, that's an achievement.

If we can forgive TO for standing on the star (which never bothered me), why not Furrey?

I dont consider it much of an achievement, again they threw the ball all over the place from 3 and 4 WR sets almost everydown. They were also getting pasted on a weekly basis, making it even more imperative to throw the ball a ton.

He was the product of a pass happy system.

But STILL....

34 more yards is STILL 34 more yards.

That was back in 2006 when Furrey put up 1086 yards. In 2007 Furrey had 664 yards and in 2008 he had 181. Do you see a trend? Maybe not if you go back further. He had 189 yards in 2003, 8 in 2004 and 0 in 2005. He also has 7 career TDs with 6 in that magical 2006 season.

So yes three seasons ago he gained more yards than TO gained last year. Big deal. It is a league of what have you done for me lately. Based on that many are down on TO because he hasn't done as much as he used to do. Still he has produced way more than Furrey every has and especially the last couple of years.
