Lions vs. Cowboys... predict the score

Can I just predict that Stafford gets injured again? :muttley:

We can just call him Mathew Glassford.

Cowboys 18 - Lions 16

Dan Bailey's got his work cut out for him again as it doesn't appear that we can score TDs without Miles Austin.

21-17 Cowboys. Another close one. Detroit is a pretty good team.. we are better.

If we had Miles back, (not just because he is good, but because Ogletree is stupid) I would predict a route.

Since he is not, I will go with 23 - 13 Dallas.

I will probably be told I am not a real fan for predicting the Lions to win but with Dez not practicing again today and Miles out, I dont think Dallas is going to muster up enough offense to win this one.

Lions 30-17 over Dallas. I hope I am wrong, going into the bye 3-1 would be huge for them given their injuries. Plus their schedule is much softer in the middle of the season. Even with a loss here I think they will be 5-3 at the mid point.

Cowboys 20
Lions 16

Cowboys forced to keep Detroit out of the end zone in the final minute.

Come on man.. seriously? Are you forgetting about our defense? No way the Lions put up 30 points.

Sure, our offense is struggling and Detroit has a pretty good defensive line, but they will have to contend with our defense, which is stout. I see multiple interceptions in this game by the Cowboys. Hopefully we worked out some of the kinks with the back up WR's and they play a lot tougher than the other night. Romo will have had almost a week to heal up more, Jones is back having full practices, and Dez will more than likely suit up and play at 60%.

The odds makers have us favored by 1.5 points, so they pretty much see this game as even. I don't see a blowout by either team, but I certainly give the edge to the Cowboys at home.

Sorry but I just dont feel really good about this game. They are banged up and the bye week is looming. I just think they may have a let down after 2 emotional wins the last two weeks. They are going to bracket Witten and force Ogletree and Robinson to beat them and I just dont see it happening.

24 Cowboys 17 Lions

defense is getting stout. I think Garrett will have WR's whipped into shape for this game.

24 Lions
13 Cowboys

The offense is anemic without Austin and a healthy Dez, Ogletree is clueless, and Robinson is still new. The defense will hold early but will eventually be gassed due to too many 3 and outs by our offense

Ok, I can respect your opinion but you keep talking about the offense being beat up. What about the defense? What have they shown you that would make you think the Lions are going to put up 30 points on them?

I think if the Cowboys were smart they would get John Phillips on the field more often and when the Lions blanket Witten, they can go to Phillips. He has great hands and decent speed. We can't just keep going to Witten every single game, teams are all over him.

Cowboys 24-20.

Dallas 17 Detroit 13. Dez will play and although still not himself he'll score a TD. We will put some serious pressure on Stafford. Romo will struggle to find guys to throw to but will make clutch plays when we need them. 2 more sacks for Ware, Elam makes a huge pick in the 4th quarter.
