List of Cowboys Quarterbacks that were not shutout

Romo's not on the list? So, were all of those Cowboys fans gloating about Romo never being shut out wrong? As if not being shut out makes up for the poor offensive showings we had in the first place with Romo as QB. The Revisionist history, living in the moment, Romo Supporters using the the Colts game to boost up Romo and bash Dak, acted like blow out losses with Romo is better than a blow out loss with Dak, because hey scored a few points in those ugly losses with Romo.

Is scoring 6 against Philly or 3 against the Vikings in elimination games, with Romo. Any better than losing 23-0 to the Colts (With the Cowboys still being alive for the division), just because the team wasn't shut out. But, then while some will blame the 23-0 game all on Dak. They will try to have Romo escape blame or at least spread the blame, by always claiming that Romo never had good teams to work with or that he had to do all of the work by himself. The same ones who put all of the blame on Dak, are often the same ones excusing Romo by saying he always had bad teams/players around him.

Either way, whether or not Romo or any other Cowboys QB got shut out. It doesn't make any blow out loss better than 23-0, just because a few points were put on the board.

Since the last shutout (2003).

Vinny Testaverde
Drew Henson
Drew Bledsoe
Brad Johnson
Jon Kitna
Stephen McGee
Kyle Orton
Brandon Weeden
Matt Cassel
Kellen Moore

Most of these qbs were led by defensive-minded head coaches in the pre-video game offenses era. Garrett + Dak are a special type of ineptitude.

Who the freak cares about qbs not shut out, they had every opportunity to kick field goals to avoid the shut out, they chose not to, that's not on the qb. What planet do you people come from

Defense is conveniently blamed, while the defense has consistently been bailing out this bum all year. So now when the bum had to compensate for the Colts getting out early and Dak as is expected is trash, it’s the defense’s fault...

So is the defense always supposed to shut teams out so Zeke can build up a 14 point lead, while Dak gets all the credit for handing it off?

It’s not like the Cowboys offense didn’t control the TOP the whole first half while the defense was holding the Colts in check..

If this was a mediocre defense Dallas would have 2-4 wins right now.

Cowboys offense was putting up 25+ a game over these past 5 weeks.....and that wasn't a result of Zeke scoring all the touchdowns......not sure what you are going on about this time.

I have no idea what he's going on about. I guess he's making up for the past 5 weeks because he hasn't been here.

Forget the fact the Colts have only allowed like 16 sacks all year.. there are other teams that do things , so expecting the defense to dominate every game and blame them for not getting as much pressure up front, while ignoring the garbage QB play for weeks on end is a joke. The defense did enough to hold the Colts to a limited amount of points, for the offense to do its job.

But there is a reason “Mr. Clutch” only has TWO comeback wins when down by 10 points and that too, all in 2016.

There is a reason Dak struggled in particular with the Atlanta game, because it coincided with Zeke’s suspension. Hell, he was mediocre before than as well, but the last three games, Linehan ran the ball close to 25-30 thirty times a game with Zeke, against the 49ers, Commanders and Chiefs.

I will say this the Indy game is just another game where the offense really has struggled to score points especially in the RZ.

Let’s not forgot how bad this team was at scoring points before Cooper showed up. It was bad, I mean really bad.

If Zeke wasn’t on the field, defenses aren’t stacking the box as much as they are, nor playing one deep safety, with no help over the top of guys like Cooper all game long either.

Not sure what your going on about either.. just because Zeke isn’t scoring, doesn’t mean anything. He is still averaging close to 200 all purpose yards during this streak..

nice try with your sarcastic comment though about how great Dak is.. I’m pretty sure Dak isn’t the only mediocre N QB that can hit a WR like Cooper down the sidelines against a banged up secondary with no help over the middle, against press coverage with a back up corners off the street.. but OK..

Where's Romo?

Where is Romo? Don't you know that before Romo didn't make the list, that Revisionist history Romo fans acted like Romo is supposed to get a medal and get entered into the HOF, because he wasn't shut out like Dak was. As if our field goal kicker scoring the only points in games like 44-6 and 34-3, is some major one up manship and accomplishment that the Romo era has over Dak QBing the team that lost 23-0 on Sunday. :lmao2:

I guarantee you that at the times of those losses that Cowboys fans, players, and the Sports media wasn't going. "Well, you know at least we/they didn't get shut out." Pretty sure that Romo took plenty of blame for those games, like Dak is taking the blame for the Colts loss. Yet, the living in the moment, resentful Romo Supporters (some of them), are rewriting Romo era history and acting like Romo was a legendary God who could do no wrong and never had a bad game or ugly loss in his career. And that if an ugly offensive showing/loss did happen in the Romo era, it was everyone else fault but his. Because he had nothing but scrubs and NFL busts to work with.:lmao2:

Anybody get the feeling that when the day comes that Dak is no longer quarterbacking this team- be it in one year or ten years from now- we'll be getting posts like this about the new guy?

The narrative will be the same, just about a different player.

I am so disapointed in Dak's tackling ability. He let the Colts running back run all over us......;)

Yes, this no doubt will happen to the next Cowboys QB.
