List of Cowboys Quarterbacks that were not shutout

I've made my opinion clear on how I feel about this shut out, it sucked, it was pathetic and the past 3 games it's becoming a trend of not scoring TDs.

With that said, this post is agenda driven. Lol

The QB that lead his team in the shut out was just shut out 2 week's prior against a team we put a 40 buger on. **** happens. I'm not so worried about the one shut out as I am the trend leading up to the shut out.

Heh, yeah. Sorry, thought that was an actual question. That list goes to show that sometimes in life even the best can come up short on occasion.
If these folks on here bashing Dak had social media in Aikman's first 4 seasons they would have ran everybody out of town. I remember it was bad even without social media.

I know Aikman was shut out 3 times in '89. White was injured and shut out in '85. Nothing else comes to mind.

And I had to go to a stupid sports bar owned by Pepper Rogers to see the Eagles AND Giants shut us out in '89. At least our one win was against the Racial Slurs.

Nobody was talking about Aikman going to the HOF that season ;)

P.S. You have mail

Yea aikmans 1st year was very rough. But he was a very good QB coming out of college on to a very bad team.

I remember the Eagles shutout in 1991. Aikman was the recipient of 11 sacks by the Eagles defense, which included the likes of Reggie White, Jerome Brown, Clyde Simmons and Seth Joyner.

Since the last shutout (2003).

Vinny Testaverde
Drew Henson
Drew Bledsoe
Brad Johnson
Jon Kitna
Stephen McGee
Kyle Orton
Brandon Weeden
Matt Cassel
Kellen Moore

Most of these qbs were led by defensive-minded head coaches in the pre-video game offenses era. Garrett + Dak are a special type of ineptitude.

Breaking news. Threads started by folks that love white QBs

List of Cowboy QBs who were NOT the guy who allowed a blocked FG and 200 yards rushing by the Colts on Sunday:

Dak Prescott
What about the qb who did not decide to run the ball on 4th and 1 from the 3 and get stuffed?

That qb had no say over that decision not to make it 7-3.

Thanks for the information. Staubach, Aikman, Romo, and Merredith are not on that list so that means Dak is in good company. Blaming a shut out on one player is ridiculous. The Cowboys had plenty of chances to score and it was a team that blew those opportunities.

Rules since they played have been tilted so heavy to offensive scoreing for revenue that a present day shutout is especially embarrassing
Giants were shut out Sunday and the colts the game before. It still happens

Team game.

Dak made his contributions to the failure, but I don't think he was particularly awful.

While Sua-Filo was in, we had two out of two drives that normally would have come away with points. Once SF was replaced with Redmond, nada.

So the Cowboys win 5 straight and Dak gets little to no credit from these people.

Then the Cowboys suffer an embarrassing shutout in which the entire team laid an egg... and it’s 100% on Dak!!!!
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

Just a side note:

The dynastic duo of Belichick and Brady were shutout in 2016 of, by all teams, the eventual 7-9 Bills. At home.

For the record, they ended their season as SB champs.

Bad games happen to all teams. No, we're not the 2016 Pats. We also aren't the 2016 & 2017 Browns. ATM, we're tied as the 9th best team in the league. As Parcells said, 'You are what your record says you are'.
