Brandon Jones, Tenn - Managed to finish 3rd on the team with about 41 catches for 11.0 yard avg. I think he's still available.

Amani Toomer, NYG - Long in the tooth, turns 35 in September. Finished December with only 9 catches.

Bobby Engram, Seattle - Turns 36 in Jan. Man, he lasted a long time! Good slot receiver through the years, his production dropped in half from previous season (94 to 47 catches).

Reggie Williams, Jacksonville - Just 3 TDs last season after posting 10 TDs the year before.

Koren Robinson, Seattle - Had 31 rec this past season, which tied for his most since 2004.

Darrell Jackson, Den - He's still capable of making the big play down the field (15.8 yard avg this past season), but his production has really dropped off in recent years, and he hasn't played in all 16 regular season games since 2004.

Brandon Lloyd, Chicago - Little impact for the most part last season.

Drew Carter, Oak - Knee injury landed him on IR, but he's still relatively young, and he's a deep threat when healthy.

Dante Hall, St. Louis - Best days over, IMO, even in the return game. His 20.6 yard kick return avg was lowest of his career.

Shaun McDonald, Detroit - Receptions dropped by more than half (79 to 35) and his 9.5 yard per catch avg was the second lowest of his career.

K Colbert, Detroit

T Copper, Balt - Well, we all know about him.

J Galloway - He's old for an NFL player, but he's still fast and productive.

Of course, Holt is likely to be released as well. So we can add him to the list soon.

There isn't much to pick through here.

Personally, I'd probably go through the Draft, unless JJ is working out some other type of trade.

I'd go with either Starvin Marvin or Big Game Torry Holt and a draft pick...

If the front office determines we need to bring in a vet WR, I'd pass on that entire list.

Then I'd wait until final cuts in preseason and grab one.

In the meantime I'd draft one in the 3rd or 4th and do what I could to get him ready. Possibly trade into the 2nd if one I like falls.

Dam, talk about slim pickings.

Other than Holt if he is released, I dont see anybody on the list really worth signing.

We should either sign Holt or play with what we already have.

I'd draft one instead. most of them are pretty old or suck.

If there's one good enough I think we should make it a priorority to draft someone high at the WR position and take one in the 2nd round.

I'd like Joey Galloway because I think he could help the younger receivers and he has a "little" left in the tank. He always seemed to do fairly well in Tampa. The only question would be he seems to be hurt a lot.

Did I miss something or has Marvin Harrison signed somewhere?

He has not signed elsewhere as far as I know - my guess is he's done.

Terry Glenn 2.0. His knee is shot, and his asking price is nuts.

Tory Holt is only going to be 32. He can still have a few productive years with us. He probably won't be too pricie either.

I say go with Holt, and still draft a WR on the first day. No more projects. Stanback can go play in the CFL.
