Georgia officials have released the 911 call in which school staffer Antoinette Tuff convinced 20-year-old gunman Michael Brandon Hill to lay down his high-powered rifle and hundreds of rounds of ammunition at McNair Discovery Learning Academy near Atlanta. Tuff can be heard telling the 911 operator, “He said he don’t care if he dies, he don’t have nothing to live for.”

Atlanta school hero reveals she told shooter she loved him as his brother said he was a 'ticking time bomb bound to do something stupid'

Antoinette Tuff revealed last night that Hill told her he had no reason to live because no one loved him.

'And I just explained to him that I loved him,' Tuff told ABC News.'I didn't know much about him. I didn't know his name but I did love him and it was scary because I knew at that moment he was ready to take my life along with his, and if I didn't say the right thing, then we all would be dead.'

I watched this last night on the news as it was being released. I've never seen anything like this. It completely blew me away, and I was almost to tears when she finally ended the call and broke down because she was so scared. Truly amazing stuff here.

I heard part of the audio on the radio this am and it gave me chills just listening to her. She held it together probably alot longer than most people facing similar circumstances. I commend her on her bravery.
