Ireland has some big, brass ones taking calls from listeners. No matter how good the Cowboys draft is, you know there’s going to be some irate callers wondering why the Cowboys didn’t pick THEIR guy. Especially once you get in the later rounds. “How could you pick this guy I’ve never heard of when a guy I have heard of and read a few free internet profiles for was still on the board?”

We will have the identity of the Cowboy pick before its announced by the commissioner. They will send it to us before they send it to the podium.

I'm not sure I believe that. Seems a bit vague in any sense.

So then the Ticket does what w/ it, have Norm jump up and yell it out just as PT's walking to the podium, then chest bump Greggo while hollering "SCOREBOARD" as a bewildered PT looks on??

Wow, Norm just gave out what the Ticket is going to do for draft coverage. They negotiated these terms with the Cowboys as part of their flagship station deal.

When the Cowboys have selected a player, Jerry and Bill get on the phone and call the player to let him know they are selecting him … the Cowboys will record that conversation and give it to us to put on the air.

Every pick, we’ll have the Cowboys position coach or the scout that responsible for analyzing him to give his input.

At the end of each day, Jeff Ireland will come on to talk and take calls from listeners.

We’ll get Jerry Jones for an exclusive interview before he even does his usual press conference.

I think that is pretty cool and really apreciate that little extra effort.
