I agree with Draegerman.

Of all the people in Texas and neighboring states/counties that get the Dallas game its unbelievable that no one is able to sopcast stream it. I live in VA so I get the Commanders games and would never stream them to make any Commanders fans happy.

I know its only preseason but its a disturbing trend ALL OTHER teams are streaming sopcast except us. Some teams even have multiple streamers. :-/

Basically what it is is you need a 15$ TV tuner (coaxile in) and a broadband internet connection. You set up the Sopcast server and select your input source (the tuner) and then stream. Sopcast provides you a channel that you share with people. Also, the way it works where ALOT of people can connect is that sopcast uses the viewers connection to allow other people to connect and watch. So you might be only able to support 5 people watching, those 5 people might be able to support 3 others each...each of those might be able to support 2-3 etc. And it makes a large network.

That link (Sopcast channel) that DJ posted on page 5 is replaying the Broncos game..Maybe they will be broadcasting the Texans game when it come on.

FWIW, www.theticket.com is a great site to listen to the game and CBS Sportsline does a very good job tracking the game with live stats:

Not much help but it certainly is better than nothing.

There is no one in the Dallas area that knows how to stream. Thats what it comes down to. With all the guys on this forum It really blows my mind the no is capable of doing this,

I don't think theres a Mac sopcast version.

I'll be on the ticket and in Chat for sure. Thanks to those who have streamed our games in the past, I don't mean to sound ungrateful. I have a Slingbox and am willing to trade if anyone wants to watch Baltimore Ravens at Washington Commanders.

Normally, I ignore childish behavior on the message board but since it seems like I'm won't be watching the game tonight, I'll be more than happy to accomodate.

I would suggest, however, that you keep it on the pm side to me so as to avoid polluting this board further with your idiocy.

We should really get a movement started. Post some tutorials out there, sticky a few posts, anyone willing to help can. It'd be a nice fan effort. But until then were stuck with Radio >__>.
