They have the Vikings GM on and they asked him if he would trade pick 23 for the Cowboys 2nd and 3rd and he said he would do it.

Anyway Elliot or Myles Jack could fall to that area?

They wouldn't fall that far, but if Lynch does and we think he's a franchise guy, that's a no brainer.

I don't see Jack or Elliott falling that far but anything is possible. Could also be a DE, WR, or QB.

I would think we'd only do it if Lynch is there. That seems to be about the right range for him although he might be overdrafted.

That trade would be in Minny's favor by 60 points, so I can see why he would do the deal. The only way I do that deal is if Jack does fall that far...which he won't. Otherwise, there is little difference in late first, 2nd, and 3rd round talent in this draft from what I've been able to gather. Why give picks away in that case?

A better scenario would be trade down from 4 and add picks. But not sure that's a real option right now. That could all come down to who is there at 4 and who falls in love with them

Kirwin seems insistent that the Cowboys move back into the end of the first round, to take Lynch.

Im just not a fan of Lynch. I get why people think he could be good but I don't think he's going to be a special player.

If anyone is going to be the next Flacco it's him and I don't want to watch that boring Flacco style football every wekk.

If he turns into Flacco...we are sitting pretty.

I am failing to see that as a negative.

I'd pull the trigger for Lynch in that scenario, but I still maintain that Lynch made himself a bunch of money courtesy of Rams/Eagles.

I like being entertained and not having some glorified bus driver as my QB.

I thought it was interesting that on the radio today both Kiper and McShay seemed to think Lynch was a major project.
A good project, worthy of a pick between 30 and 50 or so, but a 2-3 year project nonetheless.
The said Arizona would be perfect for him with the QB coach and the Palmer window.
I guess part of that could apply to Dallas. 2-3 year, Romo out, Lynch in.

They had Jaws on there and he was praising Lynch so much, I'm thinking I want him at 4.

He is for sure. The physical stuff is easy. He's there already. But he's starting from ground zero, it seems, in terms of reading a defense. Whether Lynch has what it takes to learn complexities of a professional offense and defense is TBD.
