And Steve Dennis picked the Eagles to not only win the division, but to beat the Colts in the SuperBowl. Said their defense is just too good for Dallas. When did the Eagles turn into the 85 Bears on defense? I guessed I missed that Steve, thanks for the update...............LOL

And Nick Eatman said Dallas had no chance to be the number one seed and that the 6-1 record was Dallas taking advantage of the easy part of their schedule. So we are a product of a weak schedule.

All of a sudden beating Seattle in Seattle was just us taking advantage of a soft schedule...............LMAO

Easy there Cowboy. He picked the Eagles in the preseason, and props for him to sticking with that pick right or wrong.

Some of y'all can't take anything right, everything is so black and white to you all. It's hilarious. God forbid there be some grey area.

You're taking so much out of context lmao

It doesn't really matter what Steve Dennis thinks, but I agree that worrying about the PHI defense of all things is a little silly. But then, Dennis also thinks Romo is turnover prone, so there's that to be said about his ability to read tea leaves.

I thought the bit about the Cowboys and HFA was a bit weird, given how the team is positioned right now. Other than the fact that we've got a real challenge inside our division in the Eagles, I think our balance gives us as much stability as any team in the NFC right now in terms of projecting how we're likely to perform down the stretch.

That said, it's hard to get too worked up over the opinions of some guys on an internet radio program. They're just trying to get people talking. We'll know where we stand, more or less, when we're done with the PHI games in a few weeks.

Guys like Dennis are aggravating no doubt, but if we keep winning the mania around this team will reach a level that the younger fans of the boys cannot fathom. Just keep winning and the tide will turn

Well I think we still gonna play the eagles on the field twice this year to really see who is best.

Hey, I like the doubters, heck until recently I was one of them. I will like it a whole lot better if the Boys can prove them wrong on the field. We will see, that's why they play the game.

I usually don't listen to them, and this is why. Not that I don't mind their opinions, even if for picking the Eagles or some other teams. But do it by backing it up, not stupid statements.
The Eagles defense wasn't tat great last year, so why think it would be different going into this year. Everyone was saying our D would be worse. So there is no logic he can use to think the Eagles would be any better. They did not bring any one in to make them better.

Steve Dennis has been quoted as saying "it's my job to be the bad guy". That was at his last job, but I'm sure he brings that same mentality.

If you listen to much sports talk radio, one host normally takes one side of the argument and the other hosts takes the other side; although, in reality I think they often agree, it's makes for better radio if they disagree. Steve Dennis is going to be the guy that has negative viewpoint on most subjects because he thinks that it's his job to be the devil's advocate.

I think that's the media in general, for example first take, number never lie, sports nation, ect; They create controversy because it stirs up the pot( or play devil's advocate), and people start talking about how silly their view points are. And as they do so they're advertising for them and creating clicks. I mean with some of the stuff these media guys come up with, there's no way in hell they honestly believe what they're saying.

Yes, the morons like Stephen A. Smith don't really care if they get ridiculed by losing a bet and having to wear a Cowboys Jersey as long as people are watching their show.

I keep trying to tell people that complain about guys like SAS that if they're watching his show, he's winning.

I never watched it, only a minute here or there by accident while seeing what's on.
Both are buffoons so do not care to hear any of their dribble, good or bad.

Even when SAS is talking anything else, even basketball, I do not listen, immediately mute or change the channel. I hate golf, really hate it, but would watch it over SAS.

These opinions are as worthless as power rankings. They may be right, they may be wrong, but it has no bearing on reality until the chips fall.

Honestly, the entire media for sports is designed around people's opinions of other people. Luckily it seems that the Cowboys players put little stock into what other people think, or I'd be concerned.
