Freaking awesome. Nice job to all those LUCKY enough to attend! :laugh2:

That aint nothin

That place will be rockin on Saturday night.

I love the way we're playing. Romo isn't taking to many risks and the defense is top flight.

They just brought it up again a few minutes ago. The host of the show said the thing that worries him the most about next weeks game is that the energy coming from the crowd "felt more like a european soccer game."

Went on to say that historically Cowboys fans arent know for getting that rowdy and that next week will be even louder.

Nice... Fans need to bring it next week!:)

They just brought up something very interesting. Out of all 12 teams that are in the playoffs the Eagles are the only team that didn't beat a playoff team this season. They went 0-4 in games against playoff teams. They lost to SD, NO and Dallas twice.

McFlabb is taking a huge beating on WIP right now.

Honestly, I believe yesterday was the worst game I have seen McNabb play. He looked like he should retire or be relegated to backup duty.

McNabb has never impressed me.

OTOH, I have always believed Romo is a great QB. I mean a GREAT, HOF quality guy.

The fact that I'm a Cowboys fan is a coincidence.

Case in point: I have a special, deep and bitter hatred of the Broncos but acknowledge that Elway is one of the all-time great QBs.

:)

It really didn't. Sometimes that's related to the booth accoustics though. Not sure how loud it would ever seem in that space ship. Good job by the crowd for impressing the WIP buttheads though.

The sound on TV doesn't just come through the announcer's mics. They usually have crowd mics and mics around the stadium to pick up ambient noise. That's how you can really hear a missed FG clank of the goal post, or in basketball how you hear the ball hit the rim, the net swish and the shoes squeak so clearly at times.

I've seen him play much worse. Several of his epic failures in the NFC Championships a few years ago come to mind--especially the Tampa one which pleased me to no end.

Interesting report. Thanks for the info.

I wondered how loud it was yesterday because it didn't sound unusually loud on tv.

I do believe the producers eliminate much of the crowd noise so their broadcasters can be heard.

I was at the Bama/UTenn game this year when Cody blocked a FG to save the game for Bama. That was the loudest single moment in a stadium I've ever heard. Later I watched the tv replay and it didn't sound unusually loud.

You could tell the CBS broadcast muffled the sound for their production.

Its about time...we need to be that extra player and help this squad. Theres a reason they call it "home field advantage"

No kidding.

Hopefully Jerry figured out that passing out 3D glasses in the middle of a football game and having 100,000 people watching a movie screen, ala Avatar, took something away from our home field advantage!

That was not one of Jerry's brighter ideas! :D

It's great to hear that the crowd really got into it last night and now the challenge is for them to be even LOUDER next Saturday night.

Good to hear (no pun intended) since it didn't come through on TV.

Kinda ironic that we could sometimes hear Romo calling plays in the huddle but not the roar of the crowd.

If we can hear Romo calling plays, that means its quiet at the right times.

Seriously people... When offense is on QUIET, when defense is on LOUD. It's against nfl rules for the team to tell you that, so its best to know it.
