Little Ball of Hate getting run up north

As many of you know, the Dallas Stars are playing the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL playoffs. I hate the Canucks so I am not following the series but I did have local sports radio on a couple of days ago and they broadcast a cuss filled rant by the Little Ball of Hate. Every second word was bleeped out as she complained about the Stars losing in the first round every year.

It was pretty hilarious. Not as funny as the way she pronounced hockey "hackey" but so be it. She said if they Stars do not win the series, she will never talk about the team or go to a game again.

I don't have any particular love for the Stars but I do want them to beat the Canucks.

Dallas must have won last night just for her. Before last night, they had lost 6 straight playoff OT games. Finally Turco plays well, but the Stars don't have any offense.

It's amazing that she can keep her job after speaking like that over the airwaves at a time when others are losing their livelihoods for things that come out of their mouths. I'm not defending the Imuses of the world or saying that this situation is the same as a racial slur, but it's pretty distasteful and unprofessional of her no matter how true her rant might be.

Still, maybe it has done some good, the Stars have won the last two games.

Series is now tied 3-3 with game 7 here on Monday.
