Pat Toomay: Toomay published a series of books, including the novel, "On Any Given Sunday". He also played the part of an assistant coach to Y.A. Tittle in the Oliver Stone film, "Any Given Sunday". His father played professional basketball and was a general in the United States Air Force.

Blaine Nye: During the offseason, Nye earned a M.S. in physics from University of Washington in 1970 and an M.B.A. from Stanford University in 1974. After retiring from football in 1976, he earned a Ph.D. in finance from Stanford Business School in 1981. His dissertation was titled "Demand and Pricing for Health Care and Guaranteed Insurability".[

Danny Villanueva - former Cowboy placekicker founded the network that ultimately became Univision.

Dale Memmelaar - former Cowboy offensive lineman eventually became a football coach for a high school rival (Washingtonville, NY) of my school.

Drew Pearson - played high school football alongside future hated rival Joe Theismann.

Preston Pearson - played college basketball at Illinois, and was coached in the NFL by three Hall of Fame coaches (Don Shula, Chuck Noll, Tom Landry). First player to appear in a Super Bowl with three different teams.

Frank Clarke - the former Cowboy WR was the first African-American player to play at Colorado.

Mike Gaechter - along with fellow Oregon and Cowboy teammate Mel Renfro, set a world record in the 4x110 sprint relay race in 1962.

Jerry performed in several groups that only existed for a gig or two:the Thunder Mountain Tub Thumperw, the Sleepy Hollw Hog Stompers, the Wildwood Boys, and the Black Mountain Boys.

Oh wait that's Jerry Garcia, never mind.

Can you believe a coke snorting, whoremonger, knucklehead played for the Cowboys, he got cut and went to prison, only to get out and win the lottery two times.
