LLWS >>>>>>>>> MLB

Man, I wish MLB was as fun to watch as the LLWS. I wish they'd do this with football.

I have to say I have enjoyed watching these little kids in the LLWS.

I'm watching them use replay in the Texas game versus Washington. The Washington coach is challenging the tag of a runner. I think this is ridiculous.

They're splitting hairs as to whether the runner's leg came off the bag after touching it initially and being safe. Are they going to replay whether the 2B or SS touched second base when turning a double play? They almost never actually touch the bag. Baseball has a lot of unwritten rules where umps will call a runner out if the throw beats the runner, even if he misses the tag. I think it just opens up a huge can of worms.

the difference with the LL and the Major Leagues is that in the LL the children are on the field while in the major leagues the children are running it.

get rid of those unwritten rules and increase runners on base, scoring, excitement....

The Texas boys fought through a 4-0 deficit from the bottom off the 1st to pull it out with a huge top of the 6th, and advanced 7-5.

All credit to the Washington team. The way they worked that base running play was unlike anything I've ever seen.

Way to go Pearland...On to the US Bracket Title Game!!

hate to say 12 -13 year olds choked but Texas gagged against Hawaii and now are looking even worse against Chinese Taipei.

instant replays taking an average of 45 seconds, about half of calls overturned. Managers can challenge a call till they get one wrong.
