Is this proof we'd be stupid to take a backup RB with the 1st pick? ;)

The fact that the four best corners were gone by our pick was truly troubling.

May happen on draft day as well.

I doubt that.

I don't think that the personnel people for NFL teams are quite as CB hungry as the people on this forum. They'll stick to their draft boards, and I don't think that there is going to be a consensus on which DBs are the best.

I think there will likely be four or five CBs taken in the first, but not by 18.

Agreed. This is largely the result of unrealistic trades. St. Louis definitely won't and the Pats probably won't actually take a corner in the 1st at the original positions.

I'd like to do a Mock Draft like this without trades. It's more realistic.

I really hope you are correct.

Until we are on the clock, it will be nervous time!

That's great, but we pick #22!

When you consider that McKelvin and DRC are most likely top 10 picks or close to it, and Jenkins is a top 15 pick, that means only one more C.B. has to come off the board before our pick #22, so I think the top 4 C.B.'s will be long gone by the time we pick, which is why I think we'll get the Pacman done prior to the draft so that we can use our two 1st rounders on offensive skill position players and then go for one of the 2nd tier C.B.'s in round 2 and possibly again in either round 3 or 4 as well!

So Miami traded their #1 pick to Minnesota for the #17 pick...straight up, and then traded that pick to Arizona for Arizona's 2nd round pick, trading completely out of the first round? I'm sorry...BUT WHAT THE EF!?!?! ARE YOU GUYS ********!?!?! WAS THIS DRAFT MODERATED BY 12 YEAR OLDS?

Granted, now we know that Miami kept the pick and took Jake Long and that the vikings traded that pick to kansas city...but how did you nut skulls figure that Miami...with the #1 pick in the draft, in rebuilding mode, would opt to trade completely out of the first round for virtually nothing....NOTHING.

********. Absolutely ********. There's nothing more i can say.
