I think Livings will start again at Guard but only one of Costa and Bernardeu will secure a starter spot at Center.

I hope the Cowboys will draft Cooper or Warmack to start the other Guard spot.

On the other hand, I also think Free will be released and Parnell will compete with a Tackle drafted in 4th or 5th round.

Other draft picks will be made to adress Safety, DT and RB.

Good post, I agree with Livings at Guard, an OG taken high in the draft and Costa/Bernadeau/Kowalski competing for the starting Center position.

I also agree with an OT drafted in the 4th round or later but see that guy as a developmental project. You rarely see a 4th round pick starting.

I think the team also signs a second tier OG like Brian Moore and Donald Thomas that be solid for a couple of years with the draft pick from this draft taking over for Livings at soe point (hopefully quickly).

Yeah, I think two positions (one guard, one tackle) will definitely have new starters come the first game of the season.

Center... I'd say it's 50/50 that Costa is the starter.

Alright, so if it comes down as many think it will.....we get one new starter out of the draft, the rest is Livings at LG, Smith at LT, Parnell at RT and the winner of a competition at center between Costa and Bernadeau, is the OL better? Or actually, is it good enough to get us deep into the playoffs?

I think another potential starter at guard comes through free agency.

You also have to think that the interior line depth will be a lot better next year between the odd man out of Costa/Bernadeau, Kowalski being healthy and the possibility that Leary or Arkin improve next year.

Pretty much any of those options are better than what we got from Dockery last year.

With you on the Oline maybe Benardeu can secure the center position, but if Dallas can land one of the top DTs with the 1st pick, that would make a huge impact.

The offensive line might be slightly better in this scenario, but in my opinion, it won't get us deep into the playoffs.

I'm one of those guys that think it's time to invest heavily in the offensive line and get some marquee talent here in that area. I love Tyron, but there are four other spots on that line that need attention and it's past time that we addressed it properly.

Costa, Livings, Bernadette, OMG, Tony run for your life!

I mean, I know we aren't going to give up on Livings and Bernadeau after one season but we can do way better than these scrubs.

i don't think bernie will be starting at guard, may get a look at center but probably the center/guiard backups on game day.
i think parnell will get the start at tackle but i think this is a good year to sign a vet for the swing tackle. there are a bunch of tackles hitting the market and some decent vet will be cheap. rather have a vet swing tackle over a rookie because he will need to be the backup for both spots
i think we will draft a guard or g/c but i don't think it will be in the first rnd
