OXNARD, Calif. – Even among the famous names he shares the field with, it’s not hard to spot wide receiver Eric Rogers during a Cowboys practice.

Going to be a tough year to make cuts to certain posistions if these players transfer this type of playing to the field against real teams

Our defense doesn't qualify as 'real'?

And, I agree. I hope the guy makes the active roster if he keeps making plays and not dropping anything. At some point, you have to reward that to show guys they really can make a roster by concentrating on improving their games every single day. If he can play and it means going short at a position like OL where we don't have an NFL caliber 10th player, that's fine by me.

No our defense definately qualifies as real...I was just saying in an actual game scenario where the intensity among those who are playing their heart out for a spot. If anything our defense is making him better every day...would love to see how he fairs constantly going up against our 1st team defense. But practice is practice and I know that our guys battle hard, it's the only way they are going to get better. However, there are those that are great in practice but once they get under the lights in front of thousands of fans with millions watching they either feed off that or freeze up. That's what I meant by the statement.

I like the way these battles are shaping up. Looks like this team is building a solid WR core

and that's actually a good thing. when the bottom of your depth looks good, it means there is a lot of talent at the top.....and that's how you want it to be.
