Rod Woodson...Its one thing to hate the Cowboys, I dont mind, thats his Right, but when your hate makes you say dumb things and prove yourself to be an Idiot, it has gone to far. An analyst should not get caught up in emotions because therefore you are not being very analytical in your assessments.

Point in case. This dummy says that the cowboys are not a good team because they have not proven they can beat a good team yet. The good teams they played, they lost to. (Broncos, and Giants) The Teams we have beat have a combined Record of 10 & 25. I can live with that. Thats the facts.

Here is where the stupidity kicks in. Woodson says We are not like the Giants. The Giants are a good team. They have beat dallas. Well with :starspinincluded the the team the Giants beat have a combined record of 10-26. Take away dallas and that record is 5 and 24.

Im sorry but just because you were a great Defensive back, that does not make you an analyst.

I am now off my soapbox. Thank you for listening.

I guess they were a good team until we beat them...then they turned into a bad team. :bang2:

Some analysts are very good. Woodson isn't one of them. His Dallas negativity is because of his hatred of the Cowboys, not his analysis of them as a football team.

On the other hand, a lot of people on here hate certain analysts because they give their honest opinion, and that opinion is often that they don't think the Cowboys are a serious contender.

Case in point, Mark Schlereth. He said last year he visited the Cowboys in training camp, and said that they were the most physically impressive football team that he had ever seen. But as the year wore on and the team fell apart, he soured on them. Now, he doubts them, as most reasonable people would.

Same with Mike Golic. I've seen people blast him for being an Eagles homer after he picked Dallas to go 7-9, although he's the same guy who picked them to go to the SB last year.

Everyone has their biases, and I guess it comes down to whether someone is giving an editorial, or an analysis.

The good analyst is one who can see past them and be as objective as he possibly can be. Likewise, so can the good fan.

That's EXACTLY what it is. Teams are good until we beat them and all of a sudden they have MAJOR problems after we win.

I can't really hate on any of them

We truly have been a "let-down" kind of team the past few years, have we not?

Im fine with opinions but you cant have different rules. If you are gonna look at combined records, and bash 1 team for theirs, and elevate another when there combined record is worse than the combined record of the team you bashed on its time to SHUT YOUR MOUTH.

My problem is not him questioning us, but him using double standard criteria to make his point.

If you want to get technical...Yeah we lost those games, but at least we were close in games that we lost. Eagles got there butts handed to them by the Raiders. The Commanders have only won 2 games, and The Giants have lost 3 in a row. What...again I say What makes any of those guys better than us.

Mark my words, the Giants will go 8-8 or 9-7 tops.

you are dead on....Woodson is really the only one who just will never ever give the Boys any credit. I am sure if we made it to the SB he would say we got there becuase we beat teams that were hurt or something silly
I think Shleruth and Golic are pretty objective based on what they see at that moment and if things go sour they scale down alot of the positives they may have said earlier, which makes sense when you think about it

Watch how quickly the E-gals fall from grace after we beat 'em Sunday night...;)

You could insert pretty much any ex-NFL player here and the article would be right. They are all idiots...except Darren Woodson :)

FYI, his hate for the Cowboys isn't what makes him stupid. Stupid is inherent with him.

Like I said I dont mind his hate...I hate the steelers. I hate Worthless-berger but at least take the time to think out your hate.

Well, what happens is... we are such a bad team that when we expose someone's weakness by beating them, they really weren't that good to begin with. They were posers, and we just exposed them.
