I think the Cowboys/TO game was their Superbowl, because they have played like its the offseason since that game.

:laugh2: They haven't shown up!!!!!

another funny thing, in the offseason the eagles went on about how they were not worried about the wr situation or lack of a ground game. everyone else was calling them out for this and saying it would be their downfall but reid and mcnabb assured us they could win with the current group of guys they had.

and now when it is more and more obvious that they are missing those parts, the eagles kep saying they should be 7-0 "in their mind", that the way they are playing right now is not who they really are.

If you live near the city, like I do, then you know that the fan base (and media) were really fooled by the Eagles 3-1 start. I think most people saw it coming when they looked at the schedule and saw the Texans, 49ers and Packers in three of the first four games.

However the fans in Philadelphia took the bait hook-line and sinker. They really thought that McNabb was the MVP of the league, they could win games without running the football, and that their wide receivers were adequate. The truth, of course, is that the team was exposed over the last three weeks, and it will get worse for them once they get into the meat of their schedule (Colts, Panthers, Falcons, three straight NFC East road games).

I know, but you have to love the McNabb comment, we're 7-0 in my mind right now. :laugh2:
