Lombardi picking the skins!

LMAO!!! I mean once again these guys do not do any research on who is our for us. He claims the Commanders are the sleeper team because they played everyone close last year. Then goes on to say we are a team in transition because of our young oline and went on to say how we will not have Jenkins this week etc...
 
He's taking some heat for that pick, but I would not say that Lombardi doesn't do research.

In this case, however, I certainly disagree with him. The Skins will be better, but no way they win the East. he's right about them losing some close ones though...of course, so did we.
 
I think the Skins are a real sleeper team. I think the Cowboys will have to battle them for a playoff spot. The Skins running game looks much improved and their Defense can be a top 10 this season.

What I meant by doing research was he obviously doesn't know who is out for our game if he did then he wouldn't have made the comments he did about who is in and who is out. That was my point. Will the skins play better? Sure I don't see how they can't.
 
The skins have had a pretty good defense the last few years, if they can run the ball consistanty and dont turn the ball over on offense, they'll win their fair share....they made alot of changes this year and after all, they beat the cowboys last year to start the season..

I know preseason is just preseason, but they did look pretty good...I would never count those fools out!

The biggest thing I'm afraid of with the Commanders this year is that they're going to suck bad enough to get Andrew Luck.

playing teams close and continually losing just means that you're a loser.
A lot of great teams win a lot of close games habitually...oftentimes because the other teams bring their best against them.
The margin between good and bad teams in this league is increasingly smaller every year.

That was my response. But I was also floored more by making claims as to who will not being playing for us come Sunday. I thought it was total bush league that these guys still keep making claims without knowing the facts.
