Only drafting players or signing players based on certain physical traits is dumb.

I'd agree if that's what was happening. But Kelvin Joseph doesn't really fit the profile, so obviously Dallas isn't absolutely married to it. I think it's more of an all things being equal thing. If you have a shorter DT ranked about the same as a longer one, then take the guy with better physical traits.

Plus, if we are going to play more 3-4 then we need some linemen with length, much like Parcells drafting 6-4 Ware, 6-4 Spears, 6-7 Canty and 6-4 Ratliff in 2005. He also added 6-6 Jason Hatcher the next year.

I see a group of players out the league or low impact. First n foremost guys have to be good players. A coach caught up in measurements is a coach lacking talent on the field. All your guys have long arms, but aren't making any plays, awesome.
