Per Intellicast,Sunday supposed to be 48 Hi/ 36 Low, partly cloudy. Doesn't sound too darn cold to me. I know the cold is supposed to affect an injury like Tony has,but any of you "saw bones" out there know if this kind of weather will present that much of a problem?

No, should not be a problem for Tony. If you're a winner, like Hossey, and have tiger blood in your veins, you should be fine.

All I can say is that the game should not have been rescheduled to a night game!

1st - It is on the schedule as a 1:00 game

2nd - any change to that is an advantage to the home team especially when it makes a 10 - 15 degree difference in temp.

If it was already scheduled that way I have no problem but it was not. Moving the game time is advantage Giants all the way - crowd noise will be greater- fans will be drunker and so forth.

I think the winner of the game, (Cowboys,of course!), should get to play the last playoff game of the next week, not an early game.

1) All the games after week 10 or somewhere thereabouts are scheduled for 12ct/1et, they're moved based on the matchup. Fox would've probably moved it to 3:15ct, however, this was a league move and so they couldn't prevent it.

Troy Aikman actually expressed shock that Fox didn't get either Cowboys-Giants game.

2) It's actually 40* in Dallas now. I don't think it's going to be a temperature shock to the 'boys, at all.

I HATE night games but what's your reasoning? This is the biggest regular season game of the year.

I fully expected the 4:15 slot but I hate Sunday night games period. The weather could have been extremely worse than what the forecast says. Typical Jan1st NY temps would probably be in the 20's that time of night.

All that matters is if some kind of showers show up which is not impossible but unlikely. The last true cold front that has passed through the country is heading up the coast now. We have only had small troughs since with very little energy. It should be dry and not frigid hopefully.

I'm from NJ, the long range forecast for Sunday night is 32 degrees and showers.

I don't think Manning does well in cold weather, so the colder the better.

According to weather.com: It is currently cold and will be rainy, off and on, this wek. But it will clear up by Friday evening, low 40s and parly cloudy on Saturday, and the beset day will be Sunday with a high of 48 and parly cloudy. So in an open stadium, the surface should be dry. Even with a low of 36, it will be much warmenr in a crowded stadium. And it won't be windy either. So all in all, weather should not be a factor in this game.

Accuweather.com says 25 mph wind gusts during the day and 29 mph wind gusts at night. North/NW wind at 15 mph.

They have the wind chill at 11 degrees at some point in the night.

With that low pressure riding up the East Coast, it's hard not to see wind in the forecast.

I think a windy game favors Dallas.
