Now don't get me wrong I appreciate that LP is one of the best in the game and you can't put a price on consistency. Not worrying about long snaps is one less thing to be concerned about with the cowboys lack of it.

But is there any chance that Buehler with his strength and athletic ability could turn his hand to a long snap?

Just ask as we obviously are looking to carry a number of specialists this year and that may leave us short somewhere else. WR looks awfully thin. Anyway if we could carry a KO specialist and Long Snapper all in one roster sport surely that would allow for more flexibility accors the rest of the roster?

Your thoughts people is it possible? Could he do it? Would it be a wise move?

those guys practice a ton, and frankly, it's not something I would trust with a guy that hasn't done it before.

He may be good 90 percent of the time, but that other 10 percent will always happen at the least opportune moment. As in it could cost us games.

So, no I don't think it would be a good idea. Was worth a thought though.

I was hoping (praying) that undrafted FA Jamar Hunt (TE) could possibly work his way into the LS duties just b/c he also offers depth at TE. He was the LS in college and at 6'7 260, he's bigger than LaDouceur (6'5 255).

Though he's a good TE (good movement for a guy his size, great hands, good run/pass blocker) I think he's more of a camp body. The only way to beat out Hannah and the kid they drafted ?Phillips? would be as a LS

Buehler is a little busy right now working on fixing the economy and winning the war on terror. Maybe when he is done with that, he could take up long snapping. ;)
