The Cowboys are about to enter an embarrassing drought. If the current results hold in the Washington Detroit game, the Cowboys will have the longest Conference Championship drought in the NFC. Drink it in Jerry. Hope you're proud of yourself.
With Washington’s stunning win over Detroit, we are the only NFC team left without an NFC Championship game appearance since 1996, our last time. The Commanders were a 4 win team last season.
Your Cowboys are the only team in the entire NFC that hasn't played in an NFC conference championship in the 21st Century.
Take a bow! And it's all yours! You presided over this entire, worst era of Cowboys football. You didn't take over for a previous failed GM, no, this entire record of shame is yours alone.
You are now irrefutably the worst GM in the NFC for the last 25 years.
The title says it all guys. I don't what else to say right now other than these couple of sentences. Few people expected Washington to make it to the championship game in this current postseason but yet there they are. I realized early into the fourth quarter that the other divisional teams had made at least one appearance in the NFC championship game this century but shout out to other people here who informed me that they were the ONLY team in the NFC not to make it to the conference championship in the 21st century. That fact shows how little the franchise's management (Jerry) has accomplished in terms of getting another Super Bowl. There have been many players that have been selected to the Pro Bowl and All-Pro representing the Cowboys with some going into the Hall of Fame but yet the number of Super Bowl won since 1996 has been the same. We may have the most Lombardi trophies in the division, but that is going to change one way or the other with the way the Eagles and Commanders are run. It's only a matter of time until they get more rings than us.
Congrats to the Commies for defeating the Lions and my heart goes out to the Lions fans out there who have been with the team for decades but at least the Lions are still a great team and will be for seasons to come and even if the Commanders lose in the championship game they will still have a bright future with Daniels under center as their Quarterback.
I’m not even mad no more, it takes the pressure off…Washington and Detroit back to back years nfc title games it’s done Dallas officially the longest drought in the nfc
