You think he'll stay all 4? I think the whispers of the NFL calling will start next year when it's his 3rd year out of HS. The kid has brass.

Colt does not have an NFL arm...he would be a career backup, IMO. He is Major II with a better team around him...

Up until this game, I thought that if texas could see OSU this time of the year rather than early, they'd have a chance. I see now that they just aren't the same team they were last year.

They would be with better coaching, though.

Texas would score more against the Buckeyes, but I still don't like the secondary against them and Troy Smith avoiding pressure.

I doubt he finishes his career at Texas as a starter. I've been watching him since highschool, and pretty much what you see is what you get. He doesn't have a very high ceiling and I don't expect him to get much better than this.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jevan passes him up in the next few years, or if John Brantly becomes the starter in two years.

You couldn't be more correct.

Holy crap, Tceh. The one time I want you guys to win and you freaking blow a 2 touchdown lead
Actually it was a 3 touchdown lead but whose counting?

:D

Man, if y'all can find a way to pull out victories against OU and Nebraska, T+1 is shaping up to be one hell of a game and the determinant for who goes to K.C. for the CCG. Considering where the rivalry has been since the dawn of the 21st Century, I'd say that's pretty cool.

Indeed, it would be.

The way Okie Lite just POUNDED Nebraska from the 2nd quarter on yesterday (outscored them 41-6 at one point), and OU struggling on offense without AD, I could see it.

That being said, A&M would need a couple breaks that resulted in short fields to be able to beat Texas. I doubt we will be able to run up and down the field like we have against everyone else so far this year.

I'm not worried about Lewis or Goodson because those are the type of Running Backs that Chizik's Defense will always be able to stop. Texas LBs are really fast and really agressive but they have trouble stopping bigger RBs, like Lane. If Fran is smart he will be feeding the ball to Lane at least 5 or 6 times per drive.

Bottom line is that if McGee is on, y'all will definitely have a chance. Our secondary without a doubt has been our achilles heel all year long. He must spread the ball around though.

When we meet Texas A&M they should have another loss and maybe two by that time :). Some things never change, The Aggies will always suck...
