As unimpressive as a 42-13 win could be. Lots of issues to be fixed. Sergio Kindle just disappeared as a pass rushing end from what I saw. Roy Miller looked good.Looks like Cosby is the only receiver we have. Glad we weren't playing anybody, that would have been ugly against OU, Kansas, Missouri.....

i thought the defense played really well, much better than we were playing last year. on offense its pretty much colt, cosby and shipley and no one else. At least we have an amazing O line and the special teams is starting to look like the one from a couple of years ago. its still a work in progress but i think we should be ok, not national championship ok but contending for the conference championship

Irby was open on several plays and was only looked at a couple of times.....one being the TD.

I would like to see more out of Buckner.

The defense gave up over 400 yards.

Did you see the fan sitting on the rock outside the stadium. Go to defamer.com and scroll around to find the close up of the Longhorn fan.

ya but they held them to 13 points, thats pretty good, they held when it counted most. its a young defense, and they will only improve as the season goes along

That will happen when colt develops his trust with them. Right now the only players colt has played in a game with before this season were Quan and Ship so they're getting most of his attention.

As the season goes on Greg Davis will have to begin to trust the running game. He went away from it way too soon and only came back with it when Texas was up big and wanted to run the clock out. Fozzy made his debut and looked good so we should see more plays with him and vondrell as we get into conference play.

The defense is still trying to figure itself out too. The young safties are learning on the fly and will get better as the season progresses, and the lineup we see now may not be the same by november.

I think this is exactly how a team like this, that lost as many starters as they did, should be expected to look during early season non-conference play.
