Look at this energy at Cowboys practice

Everyone is simply too quick to react ,almost bipolar. I think it's because of the last 30 years. None of us are sure how exactly we should feel lol. For me, the joy and vibe is palpable. I feel different about the team, optimistic. I feel a quiet confidence about this team. That may not mean we win this year, but if we can establish a better way to do things around the team, a better philosophy, things will turn around. Gonna take time though and the fans will need to be patient. Don't give up on Shotty.
Being skeptical should be the default for anyone who's been watching this mess of an organization for the past 30 years. After all, why should the same guys who haven't been able to figure out a winning combination suddenly stumble on success? Sure, we are hopeful but we can no longer "expect" success. Even back in the 1980's, when the team was struggling, there was always hope b/c we were accustomed to winning and we had the same people running the team who were responsible for that success. It's the polar opposite now.

Very true.

Can’t just switch teams coach. Impossible.

If it were that easy I’d have been gone long ago.

I don’t care if they lose for the rest of eternity, I just don’t like Jerry and his act and the way they insist on running it all and being in the spotlight. Anyone who fails at the rate they do ought to head for cover, but they still get out there and act as if they are great. It’s an embarrassment. It is for me anyway.

I suppose it’s too much to ask that my football team be about football.
Jerry's a goof, I can't worry about him. I'm a fan of the team, just like we all are. I'm not embarrassed or pissed off enough to let it ruin my day. This is a distraction and a chance to experience some locker room banter with you guys. Problem is some guys around here have probably never stepped foot on a field or locker room. They dont get the comrades that some have, doesn't have to be sports...just any group spending time together, working on a common goal and not stuck behind a computer.....PSYT

WOOHOO! FOOTBALL'S BACK! YEEEEEEHAAAAAAW! I'M PUMPED! LET'S <EXPLETIVE> GO!

It's only mini-camp. Did I... did I do that right? I am not a coffee drinker, so be kind.
12 weeks, 1 day until the opener. 12 weeks and 1 day ago was mid March. It’ll be here in no time.

Seriously…is this supposed to be impressive? Pro football players doing a drill over 8” pylons in shorts while an assistant waves his arms in enthusiasm?

Hey I’m all for seeing this team perform at a high level, but this organization’s hype machine burns 24/7. If I were in charge of PR at the Star, I would not be using this kind of cheap pub to try and fire up the fan base.

There's only one way to truly fire up a large fan base: win when it matters. And after 30 years of over-hype, they should keep their mouths shut when it doesn’t matter.
