Please. Bledsoe is a professional.

Folks here are getting unreasonable. Did Drew stink this year? Yes? But he's not a quitter by any means.

I agree.

There was a long thread speculating about this last week. I thought it was silly then and silly now to think Drew would just quit.

well, Vinny Testaverde of course

expect him to be signed to a 10 year $80 billion deal in the next few days

You just wait until Brad Johnson is signed in a couple years.

lol jujo threw the ball to a bad spot and strahan was a couple steps from bledsoe at the time. Bledsoe isn't the reason that play failed.

Guess we'll just agree to disagree on this one. Heck I support Drew and didn't beleive lastnight was all his fault...but, I'll agree that Julius's toss wasn't the best...he took forever to get his feet set to get rid of that ball.

Watch again, and just watch his feet and all the shuffling that he does.

The flea flicker worked vs Washington last year. It worked against KC. It would have worked last night but JJ's pitch was to the QB's side and caused him to waste time getting rid of it.

If you watch that play, JJ also has responsability for the rush. He pitches the ball back and then immediatly turns and engages the oncoming rusher. Drew actually steps to his left, moving closer to the oncoming rusher and provides the angle by which the rusher is able to get a piece of the ball.

I agree with the earlier poster. Romo probably could have avoided it by simply not stepping into the pressure. At least, I hope this is proven to be the case.

i think Bledsoe retires immediatley. not after the season

I dont think Bledsoe is that shallow...you dont quit! He is enough of a professional to play the season out and maybe even help Romo as the qb.I think Bledsoe will cool off and then do what he can to help the team.

he was running. He was being chased. Watch the play again. Set your feet and you'rd dead. If he can't set his feet, the throw has to be all arm. Hence the windup...

guys, i heard somewhere last night that BP went looking for Bledsoe after the game and he was no where to be found. also that Bledsoe threatened to retire if he lost his job to Romo to start the season.

in my opinion i think Bledsoe retires, and walks away. he is a spoiled brat, the year after they won the SB in NE with Brady, Bledsoe pleaded that he should get his job back, thus that is why he was sent packing to Buffalo. after losing his job to Losman in Buffalo he demanded a trade, i think he retires now. wonder what other QB's are out there?

joe beningo was talking about this on WFAN... he's setup with businesses, 4 kids, etc... life is more than football... might just retire. probably came from the same "source" so seems like pure speculation. retiring mid-season would be quitting on the team he's captain of.
