If this goes the way we think, don’t be surprised to see some possible switch ups in personnel in the second half. I’m particularly interested in:

- Jason Peters at LT and Smith at LG for a full half
- James Washington getting plenty of work and maybe some more Turpin opportunities at WR
- different CB combos, including Bland inside and outside, and testing Wright and that PS guy they like a little
- Also would interested to see if Cox gets used with LVE questionable
- McGovern playing some FB again

This isn’t a preseason game we need to go out and take care of business. This game could have a big impact on the Cowboys winning the division if Philly were to stumble. The Cowboys need to do everything to assure they win this game.

Eh...meh...probably not all of that or half of that for real. We'll see tho, these coaches leave their starters in the game past the time to sit them.

Aren't we just brimming with confidence.

So far, I read the following discussions about this record breaking game:

Consecutive 50 point games.

First ever 60 point game (The franchise record for points scored in a game is 59 which they did twice.)

It's going to take McCarthy's maximum effort in self control not to put in the backups before the1st half ends.

It's true that the Texans have had a terrible season. However, do you know the one single event that could turn the entire season around? Perhaps even save their coaches job? it would be like a Super Bowl to them. It would endear themselves to their fans again.

And they are proud athletes as well. Do you think they are just going to stand by while an entire league treats them like the sacrificial lamb.

The Cowboys had best be prepared for a brawl.

Don't take anybody for granted any given Sunday anything can happen.

You going to cocky thinking you're going to blow them off the field and all of a sudden there you are with a couple turnovers down by a field goal wondering how the hell did this all happen.

All while seeing the Eagles lost to the Giants and you could have gained ground.

Stay the course Don't get cute finish the game.

This isn't a preseason game or training camp. No one cares about the bag of tricks you have dreamt up. This thread has potential if we just stick to the real possibilities based on how the Cowboys actually operate. Tyron is back so he is getting his LT job back and the rookie Tyler Smith is sliding over to LG. Peters and McGovern will be our Oline depth if needed. James Washington will be tested to catch the long ball a few times. We aren't putting any other exotic looks on tape for your personal viewing pleasure.;)

This has "trap game" written all over it. Much like the Giants game... I do think we will win but I think the score will be much closer than many of you are predicting. I am an old guy and a fan since 1970. I was 10. I know a thing or two because I've seen a thing or two.

There's a difference between this team and teams of the past 20 years who have not shown up.
Quinn has got this defense acting as a collective that wants to just destroy people and can't wait to get on the field.
Kellen Moore is learning to throw away his base offense and use people to their strengths maybe hes learned that from Quinn.
Will we have penalty filled games yes
Will Dak have a 2 interception meltdowns yes

But we are so bad-*** we will overcome them.
Enjoy this, it's 1991 all over again.
FINALLY

So in other words, a glorified preseason game.

I would be concerned if I was hearing this from the players or staff, but these are just a bunch of fans being, well, ...fanatics. How much cheese they eat has no impact on the game....it will however create a much bigger letdown/meltdown if things don't go as expected.
