Look for us to come out with both barrels smoking this week.

Based on some comments from Bill's PC today, plus the potent Offense of the Giants, I have a strong feeling that we will open the offense up this week. Think back to the Eagles game at home last year.

When the question was posed to Bill about knowing the staff for the Giants, he got into his "they know, that I know, that they know" spiel. He was asked if you intentionally try to do something diffrerent in the beginning of a game to keep the oposition guessing what else will be coming the rest of the game. I thought it may have been a Freudian slip, but Bill said field position might determine how much you would want to open the offense up. The question was never about opening the Offense up just if he might do something different to keep them off-balance. Plus the way he kept talking about the NYFG's firepower, leads me to think (much like the Chiefs game last year) we may open up the O knowing we will have to put up some more points this week.
So it would be a way to mix up his game plan from what the Giants and the rest of the world would be expecting. I mean logically I would think we run the ball to protect Drew and eat up the clock and keep the Giants O off the field.

Like I said just a gut instinct I have for this week.

If we protect Bledsoe he's going to have a HUGE game against their suspect defense.

No way do we want to get into a shoot out with the Gints...no way.

We need a big dose of JJ and MBIII, with ball control to eat the clock.

I'm hoping for a 24-10 game with the defense winning this game for us...along with keeping that offense off the field.

Why do you say that?

We have way more talent than the Giants do on offense and Bledsoe is no stranger to an old fashioned shootout...might be exactly what he needs to get the juices flowing.

Anybody see the Seahawks game. what did they do?? It worked at least once. I just think when you're at home its easier to be bolder becaue you can audible better, we are getting better at the gun if you noticed, we lost the empty backfield, how about we bring back the screen, crossing pattern for TO or some quick hitting pass play and let him run with it. Also we gotta try some more fades on the goal line no way one cb can stop that with him, he's like Key in that regard..bottom line throw him the d#$% ball. He flat goes after it..

Why do we have to look back so far?

We came out with both barrells smoking against Philly 2 weeks ago.

And that's exactly why I don't want to get into a shoot out with them...

Why you don't want to see him be successful and have a 350 yard 3 TD type of game??

Don't forget last year that he had a 300 yard game against them at home and led us to an overtime win.

Don't get me wrong...I want him to have success. I honestly do because that means a win for the Boys, which is ultimately what we all want.

Drew is a nice guy and has a he11 of an arm...

I'm just losing faith in him...that's all. I believe he is to easy to game plan for and he limits us, and if he's off his game we are horrible. He has become even more inconsistant then he usually is and way to predictable (get him rattled or pressured and he's done).

If he could turn it all around I'd be happy, but at this point I don't feel he can...it's just my opinion. I do not wish bad for him in any way what so ever.

For me it's simple...i've lost faith in him, and I think we have a better option on the bench.
