I'm tired of talking about labor problems. My wife isn't preggers so I don't want to discuss labor.

So I figured I'd take a look at our 2011 opponents assuming these jabronis can pull their heads out of their backsides and make a deal. To all who are easily offended, note that I did not single out either side for blame nor did I excuse either side. So calm down.
First we have the division rivalries to assess.
vs. Commanders...34-13-2
@ Commanders...26-25
Washington is entering their 2nd year in the Shanahan era. I was surprised at how bad year 1 went. I actually predicted they would go 10-6 and be a wildcard. They have the 10th pick in the Draft and will be playing a 4th place schedule. Key players on the Commanders who are probably gone...McNabb, Portis, and Haynesworth, possibly Santana Moss.
Fear not Commanders fans, OJ Atogwe makes up for all of those players put together.
vs. Eagles...32-19
@ Eagles...24-25
Sean McDermott proved that being a protege of Jim Johnson does not make you a Defensive Genius. The Eagles will try to rip someone off in a trade for Kolb. They will be playing the 1st place schedule. They franchised Vick and will pay him $20 million in 2011 unless they do a new deal.
vs. Giants...31-17-1
@ Giants...23-22-1
Loudmouth Brandon Jacobs has demanded a trade. It won't happen, but he may be relegated to backing up Bradshaw if they retain him. They have a Free Agent I would love to acquire, WR Steve Smith. Dallas originally wanted him in the 2nd round of the 2007 Draft. They will play the 2nd place schedule.
Now we look to the teams we play in the NFC West.
@ Cardinals...23-20-1
The Cardinals learned the value of a franchise QB. Kurt Warner retired and their heir apparent proved to be too immature to handle the job. So did a host of wannabe candidates. The Cardinals number one focus of 2011 is locking up Larry Fitzgerald. Number 2 is getting him a QB. Number 3 is not goofing on the 5th pick in the Draft.
@ 49ers...4-7
Can Jim Harbaugh prove what he did at Stanford translates to the NFL? To do it he's going to need a QB and the 9ers have the 7th pick in the Draft. To get Gabbart they probably need to trade up. They could look at QB in round 2 instead, but they will do one thing for sure in 2011, run Frank Gore until the wheels fall off.
vs. Seahawks...5-2
Year 1 of the Pete Carroll regime was a 7-9 division championship. Now comes word that they probably will not re-sign Matt Hasselback. Could they be making a trade for Carson Palmer? I would instead of going QB where they pick.
vs. Rams...5-5
Year 1 of the Sam Bradford era was exciting. Look out NFC West, here come the Rams. Dallas cannot take this up and coming team lightly at all. If they acquire some WRs to help Bradford and open up running lanes for Jackson they could be a force to reckon with in a couple of years if not this year.
The AFC East is next.
vs. Dolphins...2-4
This game could be the Thanksgiving day game. Remember Leon Lett sliding in the snow to give the Dolphins a strange win? No Leon! The Dolphins are the number 1 possible landing spot for Mark Ingram of Bama. They want a RB in the worst way and their top 3 are all Free Agents. Key to stopping them will be stopping the run, no matter who carries the rock.
vs. Bills...3-1
The other possibility for Thanksgiving. The last time we faced them was Nick Folk's big day. The one where we learned to trust him. Damn Kickers. The Bills hold the #3 pick in the Draft and could be looking for a QB. Former Cowboys coach Chan Gailey gets his first crack at revenge.
@ Patriots...3-2
Offensive genius meets Defensive genius. Past meets the future. Yes, I believe this. Doesn't mean Garrett will have the same success as Hoodie, but we can hope so. New England once again has loads of draft picks, but has to replace its aging stars. They've lost assistant coaches and key pieces but they simply reload.
@ Jets...5-1
Rex vs. Rob will be the headlines. Who will Buddy root for? Will this be a battle of defenses? No matter what, bet on this one to drive you crazy with hype. Rex's bravado will be on display and we really want to see Garrett's Cowboy way.
Our NFC Same Place Finish Opponents
@ Buccaneers...2-2
Raheem Morris called the Buccaneers the best team in the NFC last year. They had a relatively easy schedule. It will be much harder this year, but this is a team that can surprise.
vs. Lions...7-2
Yet another team with a young QB who gives them hope for a bright future. With Calvin Johnson and some recent smart drafts this team is nearing a time when they can get out of the basement of the NFC North.
