Looking ahead

Despite not having yet clinched a spot in the playoffs, coach Bill Parcells is already planning ahead.

Parcells said he has assigned some of his staff to begin evaluating Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers could be the Cowboys first-round playoff opponent next week if both reach the postseason.

seems like good coaching to me. better to be prepared for sonmething that never happens, than not beinf for something that does
