Looking at our next seven games

REALITY is there is so much negativity on here, HERE WE GO AGAIN! It's sad...

Yeah, we have to look at the positive, offense and Romo were TOTALLY AWESOME. Now just get the defense going. GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!

For the past two years, the Cowboys have started this way:

1. Start the season poorly,
2. Have a strong mid-season stretch to catapult the Cowboys to the forefront of the NFC East,
3. Stumble again to end the season and miss the playoffs.


It's shaping to look like that again this year, except that the NFC East is much weaker than before. But if the Cowboys do go on a 5-1 or 6-1 run in the middle of the season, I would still be wary about them going 1-3 in the last few games of the season.


Here's hoping the Eagles and Commanders keep losing!

I used to win a fair amt of money betting on NFL games. I wouldn't bet most of these games and then not for much. You can't tell who is going to do what these days.

Division games are always tough no matter what the records and Philly has 2nd ranked total offense in the league. The Saints have brees who will torch us and are ranked 3rd in total offense. Detroit has Megatron and is ranked 7th in total offense. Minnesota has Petterson and Oakland who isn't a slouch(plus they have woodson who has terrorized romo in the past). Not a good stretch of games against our 30th ranked defense who are giving up 27.2 points a game right now. Our offense has to score 4 tds a game or more if they want to win.

How exactly did you come up with 6-1? I am guessing you counted New Orleans as a loss and the fact that we have Sean Lee who is 2nd in the league in tackles made. He better bring his A game!

I think people are dismissing the OP's notion because the Cowboys are a mediocre and inconsistent team, and have been for a while with these current players AND HEAD COACH.

There should be some optimism around here. The Cowboys have lost three games, two to undefeated teams, by a combined 13 points. In two of those games we were playing with an injured Romo. I'm actually pretty optimistic right now.

I came with 6-1 over all these losing teams, ya u bring up the stout stats our opponents have, but obviously they arent helping them win. Again, all i am stating is that loss to Denver will bring out more good than bad. Yeah, it is kind of scary just looking at it. I tried to be as honest with myself as I could when picking those games and sure it enough it would put us at 7-8 going into the last game of the season. Hopefully I'm wrong AND hopefully Philly starts falling apart. They are the only team I'm worried about in our division. If they beat TB this week and then beat us the following week then NYG at home the next, we could be in trouble. That will give them a 3 game win streak and 5-3 record. It's really too early in the season to know how it will all unfold but I see us ending up at 8-8.
