Like Jimmy once said, "You could have been, Here we go again..." And yall are...
REALITY is there is so much negativity on here, HERE WE GO AGAIN! It's sad...
For the past two years, the Cowboys have started this way:
1. Start the season poorly,
2. Have a strong mid-season stretch to catapult the Cowboys to the forefront of the NFC East,
3. Stumble again to end the season and miss the playoffs.
It's shaping to look like that again this year, except that the NFC East is much weaker than before. But if the Cowboys do go on a 5-1 or 6-1 run in the middle of the season, I would still be wary about them going 1-3 in the last few games of the season.
Here's hoping the Eagles and Redsk*ns keep losing!
Wash, phil, det, minn, no, midgets, oak...we could go 6-1...
I think people are dismissing the OP's notion because the Cowboys are a mediocre and inconsistent team, and have been for a while with these current players AND HEAD COACH.
Wash, phil, det, minn, no, midgets, oak...we could go 6-1...
Yes, they definitely could.
Other possibilities include,......0-7, 1-6, 2-5, 3-4, 4-3, 5-2, and 7-0.
None of which would surprise me much at this point with this team.
There should be some optimism around here. The Cowboys have lost three games, two to undefeated teams, by a combined 13 points. In two of those games we were playing with an injured Romo. I'm actually pretty optimistic right now.
If none of them would surprise you, let's go with the 7-0.![]()
I came with 6-1 over all these losing teams, ya u bring up the stout stats our opponents have, but obviously they arent helping them win. Again, all i am stating is that loss to Denver will bring out more good than bad. Our defense has too much pride not to come together...this OP refuses to get in this negative zombie mind trace alot of you are in! I have nothing to be ashamed of, I dont suit on Sundays...but our team that does, I SUPPORT EM!!! I see a good stretch in our schedule!!! Forgive me!!! Lol!Division games are always tough no matter what the records and Philly has 2nd ranked total offense in the league. The Saints have brees who will torch us and are ranked 3rd in total offense. Detroit has Megatron and is ranked 7th in total offense. Minnesota has Petterson and Oakland who isn't a slouch(plus they have woodson who has terrorized romo in the past). Not a good stretch of games against our 30th ranked defense who are giving up 27.2 points a game right now. Our offense has to score 4 tds a game or more if they want to win.
How exactly did you come up with 6-1? I am guessing you counted New Orleans as a loss and the fact that we have Sean Lee who is 2nd in the league in tackles made. He better bring his A game!
If none of them would surprise you, let's go with the 7-0.![]()

This is my prediction for the rest of our games. Puts us at 8-8
Vs Redsk*ns W
@ Eagles L
@ Lions W
Vs Vikings W
@ Saints L
@ Giants W
Vs Oak W
@ Bears L
Vs Packers L
@ Redsk*ns L
Vs Eagles W
There is something wrong with this. No, we have to be 8-7 going into the last game, with a chance to win the division in Week 17. THEN we blow the game to fall to 8-8. C'mon man, everyone knows how this is going to end!
I'm with you, I see the Cowboys doing good on the stretch of games.![]()
