When looking at how the Cowboys have performed the last 5 years by month, some interesting things pop up:
- The record in September the last 5 years is 10-9.
- The record in October the last 5 seasons has also been 10-9.
- For some reason the month of November has been putrid for the Cowboys the last 5 seasons. Our record in November since 2017 is 10-13.
- Even worse, the Cowboys are 1-4 on Thanksgiving Day games.
- And the month of December, we seem to rebound. The last 5 seasons, we are 15-5 in the month of December.
- Why is November so bad? Is the team flat because of being tired?
- Has the schedule been tougher in November?
- Why has the Thanksgiving Day game performance been so bad?
- Why has December been such a good month?
