Looking at the Eagles schedule, they can easily be 14-0 by the time they meet us next

I'll take that bet they'll have at least two losses maybe more.....check back the week they play the Cowboys to confirm.

It's a copycat league. Lots of good defensive minds on different teams may expose some Philly weaknesses that may not be so obvious now.

Cliche or not, this is a marathon not a sprint.

While your thread title may have merit, these last few years in the NFL have proven to be an 'On any Given Sunday' type league of supposed lesser teams beating superior ones and I believe this is more likely than Philly winning 14 straight.

Hardest game on the schedule is home vs. Green Bay, and Rodgers has been struggling badly this season... but who knows, he tends to pick it up down the stretch of the regular season.

Second hardest game is @ NYG, but we know they're paper tigers like the 2016 Giants team who won a lot of close lucky low scoring games and ended up 11-5 but were quickly exposed for the frauds they were in the playoffs.

The rest of the games between now and Week 16 @ Dallas are absolute cupcakes. I don't expect them to lose a single one except for maybe GB and/or NYG

Winning the division seems highly unlikely at this point.
Who cares! I'm happy that the Boys are going to have to work their ***** off to make and get deep into the playoffs! Last season was a cake walk for the Boys when it came to beating teams in the East and they ended up one and done in the playoffs. They still have a few more issues to deal with as this season progresses and hopefully by the time they meet up with Philly and the Giants again they'll be hitting on all cylinders. If they can cleanup a few spots then they'll have an excellent chance to get deep in the playoffs or even to the SB!

That’s a really dumb post. We are two games behind them, we are hoping to catch them for first place in the NFC East… Why the heck wouldnt you care.
Maybe you failed to read the post because it explained that line for line.

But I'll gladly sum it up for the simpletons:
1. It is week 7 with 11 games to play.
2. Winning division means far less than playing well in the actual playoffs in 12-13 weeks.

It's Lions week. Don't give a good damn about the iggles and their schedule. Move this thread to the NFL

This is Cowboys talk. Games over, so move the hell on.

People were saying similar thing about us last year. Then Denver happened.

The Buzzards aren’t so good that they’re going to be 14-0. They’ll end up with at least 3 or 4 losses by the end of the season. It’s the NFL. Just because you’re the more talented team doesn’t mean you’re going to win. Any given Sunday.

The NFL dealt them a very easy path. Meanwhile we had to play TB, Cincy, and at the Rams
That has nothing to do with the NFL. Your schedule depends on where you finished the previous year (for 2 or 3 games). All of the teams in your division play the same teams with the exception of those 2-3 games. It used to be just 2 games difference until the 17th game was added.

They had to hold on to beat the Jags,
Lions and Cards. The rest of the teams on their schedule are similar.

To be honest, after seeing them Sunday night, these Eagles give me a 2009 Broncos vibe.

They are definitely a very good team. But, this is the NFL, they will slip somewhere and it may be unexpected. Dallas needs to worry about themselves and get a nice win steak going with the offense showing "pop".

Don’t think any Eagles fans expect 14-0, it’s been said here before it’s a marathon not a sprint and a lot can happen from week to week. Hey, I’m just enjoying the ride so far.

They will hit a wall, have a trap game. We may have exposed a few things on them last night, how to keep Hurts from running.
They will drop 2 games by the time we play them again.

they ARE NOT the juggernaut everyone making them out to be. The aren't frauds either, they play hard, but they are very beatable.

Agreed, but still, the NFC East is pretty much theirs to lose at this point. Cowboys would basically have to go 10-1 the rest of the way and hope the Eagles lose 4 games somehow. Not big deal to be honest. Im not worried about traveling. Having a great team is more important. Its not like homefield advantage has done much for us in the playoffs lately.
