Looking at the stats...

I've noticed this about Denver as well......they looked great today, but then again, they were playing interceptiVerde.

Denver does not have a poor defense at all. They remind me of us two years ago. Solid in coverage....play it in front, don't give up big plays (not counting TO's 90+ yard TD).

We'll have our work cut out for us, but this is a very winnable game.

The single biggest key to this game will be our run defense. If we can't stop their run we're gonna lose. And the Broncos are a team that can pile up a lot or rushing yards in a hurry.

I agree with you Rack. As the Denver running game goes, so goes their game. Plummer is playing better this year than he ever has, but he can be rattled like the Plummer of old. To do that though we're going to have to pressure him and leave then 2nd and long and 3rd and long a lot. That means stuff the runs on 1st and 2nd downs.

Despite Drew's stat slump of late, the Cowboys have won 5 of 6, and only Seattle has a better record in the NFC. I think today's game was sort of a practice game of sorts - they tried to practice running the ball.
