Looking back at the 2016 draft feels painless

One hundred and thirty five spots before Dak Prescott, quarterbacks Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Paxton Lynch, Christian Hackenberg, Jacoby Brissett, Cody Kessler, and Connor Cook were selected. Prescott is a pro bowler and MVP candidate with 23 career Tds.

In the 2nd round, two spots after Jaylon Smith another OLB, Myles Jack was selected. Jack has 0.5 career sacks.

A little perspective is needed when we dissect the hell out of a clip of Prescott eluding lineman for 7 yds for first downs or when we fawn over Smith's versatility. Prescott is severely outplaying higher picks at his same position.

Now with the Smith news this is our best draft since the early 90's.
