If we are looking for linebackers can we get one the looks like these guys. Dang. I wanna go move really heavy stuff back and forth now.

Instead of looking like these guys. Seriously though, what kinda of lifting do the Cowboys do? They all seem tiny. What's up the the Cowboys strength and conditioning. Smh

I guess you're suggesting Wilber and others take steroids? They still lack the talent.

At this point, we are just looking for stop-gap players, so it doesn't hurt to bring any of them in for a look and a short deal. With any luck we find someone who's got gas left in the tank and earns a new deal.

I dont know who wrote that scouting report, but Manny Lawson is in no way shape or form a coverage linebacker

Steroids no.....extra lifting yes Agreed, they not only lack talent, they lack muscles too. That's like double bad.
DAL likes a leaner LB that can cover RBs and TEs......the days of the huge thumpers are gone.....that is why we cherish guys like JSmith and why we put up with McClain's antics.......he was a huge guy that didn't suck in coverage

I don't like Dallas' LB depth, so I think it would be best for them too keep an eye out on LB's getting cut. 1 Vet has just been cut from Buffalo, Manny Lawson.

I found this scouting report on him. Yes, he's on the wrong side of 30, but he'd be a solid depth player who is good in coverage and acceptable against the run. Just don't expect much pass rushing from him.

Reports from the pre-season haven't been good on Justin Durant so this guy may be a useful alternative.

He is a 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE.

Had he been a decent 43 OLB he'd probably still be with Zimmer. He really wasn't.

Of course, at this point he really isn't a decent 34 player either.

He would be worse than what we have.

As for the pics of merriman, Mathews, etc... Those guys have been linked to PED's more than once.

Buffalo was a 4-3 before Rex got there. One of the reasons Mario wanted out of Buffalo, wanted to play DE instead of OLB. Hated to be in coverage.
Yes, Ryan on in Buf 2 years now.

Lets take care of DE, pass rusher types, before worrying about LBs.

Yes, Ryan on in Buf 2 years now.

Yes, that's why he was buried on bench and now cut, playing out of position. He was signed in FA to play 4-3 OLB from the Bengals where he was starter.
