What a great oppurtunity this win presents us. We all knew that the defense would need time to get in to the groove with the 3-4 and I saw a lot of confusion out there in our LBing corps and Ware made his share of mistakes again to be sure. Most of us also thought that the offense would be fortunate to put up 20+ points a game early on due to a rookie RT and a slow start in the preseason.
Getting this win is important because it gives our defense more time to learn and develop, both players and Zimmer learning how to use his new weapons. It a lot more fun to see are rookies learn AND win instead of just projecting it to the future. As for theoffense, with Price coming on boards, defensive coordinators are going to have to start taking Crayton and our passing game into stronger consideration which should make JJ that much more dangerous.
Now we go against Wash and SF, both games we should be favored and both games we should win. This gives us a lot brighter out look for the start of the season than first thought by many. A 3-0 start with a D just starting to come in to its own gives us a great oppurtunity to do more than just compete for that last playoff spot.

I don't want to look past teams, but 3-0 does seem entirely reasonable. That Philly game week 5 looms large.

I now expect a 3-0 start. Anything less would be disappointing. Week 4 at Oakland I am undecided. Week 5 is the biddy. I think we need to split with Philly this year home and home and this is our home.

If we start 5-0 my poor wife will get a restraining order.

How do you think we make out with Moss this year?
He owns us. Until we can play him tight and nullify his impact, give him his due.

Hos will go into incredible Hulk mode :D

The fact is, we are better than Washington and SF

Oakland's offense might be one of the best we face all year, but we will be able to score on them

That Philly game in week 5 may define our season in the NFC East

This team can't afford to take anyone lightly. Just ask the Rams, Viking and Denver! Keep your head leveled and play the next opponent like your job depends on it.

After beat San Deigo in San Deigo today I completely agree. To lose either game would be very disappointing. Good playoff teams don't lose to teams they are better than.

I bit premature, but I like your thinking and love the attitude.

After all the crazy upsets that happened today, I just hope we beat the Skins Monday night.

Except the 1992 Cowboys that lost to the Rams and the 1995 Cowboys that lost to the Commanders twice ;)
