What a difference in a year so far.
This year I know many are, as am I, looking forward to each Sunday now.

Last year after Tony / Dez injury and re-injured. It was a struggle as each game approached. It was how will they lose this this. I hope they can win and turn it around. Or it was, well if they lose, it's a better draft pick.

The only hope was that we could turn it around and take the East because the other teams were as bad as we were without our leaders. Until cousins and the Commanders found lightening in a bottle and won some games.

Now this year, many weren't thinking, we got this, Tony and Dez are back, but hoping the D finds a player or 10.
Then Tony goes down, and we think, crap here we go again. Suspensions, no pass rush.

And thank you California turf, as Moore goes down, and Dak is moved upped.
Now Dak and Zeke are carrying the team, as well as the D is stepping up too. Needs work, yes but some signs of improvement. Dez goes down, but Dak is not bothered, he keeps going, unlike last year.

So now, with a 4-1 record we lok forward to these Sunday's and not just becasue we are 4-1. But because we know we have a future ahead of us. A team needs that QB, and we know we have one. We have the RB, and a WR when Dez returns. We have the OL and the greatest TE to ever play the game. Certainly top 3 anyway.
We can also look forward to the D improving, to find that pass rush we so desperately want and need.

So yes, looking forward to Sunday's are fun again.

Yea last year was terrible. No faith in the coaching staff to devise a game plan worth a damn. Having to watch Matt Cassel fail at everything you have to be good at to be a QB in this league. Having to watch Weeden throw the prettiest pass I ever saw. Watching Romo get injured...twice...

Was glad when that dumpster fire of a season was over with.

Even during the 8 and 8 years they were at least entertaining. The QB play was so awful last year I was just rooting for draft position because I was not entertained even slightly by the JV offense that was trotted out week after week in 2015.

A lot easier looking forward to Sundays when you're 4-1 and have a rookie QB and RB that are looking special.

Certainly more enjoyable.

But even in years like last season, I just look at individual performances to see how specific guys are developing (or regressing).

And I watch every game whether it's a blowout either way. Last year was definitely rough. I found myself rooting for the team to win even though a loss would have given us a better draft pick. I can honestly say it is really difficult for me to be OK with a loss at any point.
