Looking good for Dez

Terrance Williams can put his boombox down now.

i trust the doc's, but i just hope they arent rushing anything at all. a re-break with tony coming back in 3 games would definitely, completely finish the season

Unfortunately. If they don't win the next 3 games, the season is over. And without Dez. They won't beat Seattle. Toss up with Philly. And certainly not a gimme in Tampa. Kind of a damned if they do damned if they don't.

trust me, i considered the possibility of that. though it seems that the chances are higher for failure with reinjury. we'll see...gotta pull this off somehow

I wouldn't expect a big production day for Dez if he plays Sunday. But it will be nice to see him out there.

A one legged Dez decoy will have more impact on the offense then Williams ever could. Dez will draw double coverage, opening up the running lanes. From the clips I've seen he's looks like he's running well. The combination on Sherman covering him and Cassel throwing the ball might not produce big numbers for him, but having him out there will be a huge boost for this offense.

Give us life Dez.

Dez will give us life no doubt. He's the emotional leader, just leader in general of the Cowboys. The best player. One of the most dominant and most impactful players in all of football. Really missed him down in the red zone.

Obviously Dez helps the run game, but not just because drawing double coverage also because of his blocking ability. I don't know that there is a better blocking wide reciever in the game. A lot of Murray's big runs last season were because of Dez blocking 10-20 yards down field.

On those WR screens to Beasley Dez does an excellent job washing his guy out. Dez is like the Anthony Davis of football. Just throw it up and let him go get the ball. Seeing a guy like Terrance not fighting for the ball gets so frustrating, but we both know that won't happen with Dez. He'll fight for the ball on every single play, fight for extra yardage, and he has no issues with press coverage.

Dez is my favorite player, my favorite Cowboy. Gonna be so great to get him back. Just the energy and passion he brings to the game is contagious. Having him in the huddle pumping guys up and making sure they're doing what they're supposed and getting on them when they're not. We can't just keep losing games. At some point we have to end this losing streak and that starts this week.

I'm confident we can beat Seattle especially with Dez out there. We just pushed them around last season. Yes I realize Romo isn't gonna be under center and Cassel is a huge down grade, but we still have that big, powerful offense live that Seattle couldn't get off blocks against. That defense of the Seahawks isn't dominating anymore. They're still very good, but they aren't smothering teams. They've given up a lot of bigs plays. Lack of turnovers. Not a great pass rush.

Dallas needs to contain Wilson in the pocket like they did a season ago. If Byron Jones can contain Rob Gronkowski there's no reason to believe he can't do the same against Graham. McClain and Lee need to bounce back a subpar game from them and take on and defeat blockers and not let Lynch to get downhill and punish us. DL needs to play more disciplined too. Gap control. I look for them to really attack Seattle's center which has been the biggest weakness of a very porous offensive line.

Agree with everything you said.

he was cleared medically because the bone is healed. Just be happy that he is back.

Just as our OC, Linehan, indicated at the end of his commentary, Dez will be required to be free of any lingering effects from his practices. Thus far, that appears to have been the case. It would certainly be a huge relief to see our #1 WR back in action Sunday. Thankfully, vs. Seattle, the rest of our receivers should now enjoy the benefits of single coverage. It's a certainty Cassel is extremely relieved, as is anyone else who would be pulling for this team.

Just having gim back will create a lot. Even if he doesn't do anything. He really didn't do anything in the only game he's played in.
