Harbaugh is as good as toast after the season in San Fran. Do we make a legit run at him if JG is gone? Or does that make too much sense?

Jim isn't going anywhere, I'll believe it when I see it. If he does leave SF, the only coach worth going after that can change the culture is this guy....which means Jerry will pass him up.

Hire the coach "who can't win the Big One?" Hire big brother John Harbaugh if he wants greener pastures.

I'm not a huge fan of JG's demeanor on the sideline, but I don't want to watch Harbaugh crying all the time 16 weeks a year.

One thing's probably for sure...the possible opening in Dallas is a big bargaining chip in Harbaugh back pocket in his discussions with SF. Dallas is a more prominent position than even SF, and it would be a fantastic fit for him. The offense is in place, the cap will be in a good spot next year, and we've got nothing but picks to spend on defense. He's got a track record as a QB guru, too.

Reports are that his act wears thin in the locker room after a bit, and that he's got personality conflicts with some in the organization. Hard to say what's leaked for negotiation purposes and what's actual ego. I don't doubt the guy's a pain to work with, though. I still like him.

And in two years under the mess that is Jerry Jones everyone would hate Jim Harbaugh and would be talking about how terrible he is.

Depends if he is more enticed to go back to college. Michigan seems to be the most likely stop. It also depends on how much control he wants. Dallas might not be a consideration if he wants a lot.

Cannot be any worse than our current coach clapping incessantly.

I can't stand Jim's personality - I would rather have a Tomlin or Bevell.

I hate seeing Dallas lose, but being a realist I think there is a very good chance we are bad enough we have a Top 5 pick in the draft. If that happens then Garrett will most likely be fired. If Harbaugh is an option then I would be thrilled. The guy can coach and is a proven winner anywhere he goes. Also, I feel it is time to find and start grooming our next QB. I know that we probably can't cut Romo this year or next year due to his contract but we still need to find the next QB. If we end up in the Top 5 in the NFL Draft next year then I hope Jerry does what it takes to get Marcus Mariota (Oregon QB). The guy is 6'4" 219 lbs and can throw and run. No limitations on what type of offense we run. He can do it all.

I want won of the best young and talented coaches in the league. I'd actually like an advantage for once on gameday.

If that means crying about calls then I am fine with it.

Getting Harbaugh as our coach would be a bigger miracle than finding Romo.

You think Jones is going to fire Garrett cause we suck, this is a process man. I would not bet on a coaching change this year. Jones does not have it in him to say he was wrong, he'll drive this team into ruin before he admits he was wrong, which everyone else in the whole world knows hes wrong, but he cant or wont see that, and will never admit it. Welcome to jerry's World, your just living in it, remember that too.

People will try to dispute it, but I feel that top coaches with options wouldn't work for Jerry Jones.

Bill Parcells was one nice exception while it lasted.

The only reason Harbaugh has a job in Baltimore is because our very own clapping howdy doody turned down that job. So we got stuck with him.
