well with the eagles winning tonight it looks like a four team race withe the eagles, giants, packers, and dallas. so which team fades in december will be the one that does not make the playoffs. i think that the cowboys have the harder schedule then the the other three teams. atlanta could make some noise with three out the next four at home. the bears and pathers, 49ers are done. if we can beat oakland and win our next two home games i think we have a good chance at a wild card.
i still think that the giants will win the division. they have three division games left with two of them at home. with the way denver is playing i do not see them losing on thursday.

Dude, are you insane? We currently lead the division and you're talking about us possibly taking a wild-card? We're going to march into NY and dismantle them for what they did at our home opener. Philly is coming to our house, and hopefully we'll play a better offensive game against Washington next time around.

We win those games, its our division.

If we win these next 2 games then its a done deal. Division should then be ours.

Losing to the Packers actually puts more of a chip on our shoulder going into that Giants game too imo.

You're joking right?

You would think a loss to the Packers and a one point victory over the Skins would take the cockiness out of some fans... Guess not.

The Packer loss hurts re the wildcard due to tiebreaker but we have the tiebreaker against the Falcons who would have to win three more of their last six than we have to win in order for them to be ahead of us. Basically if we just split our last six, they have to win out, unlikely.

We really only have to finish ahead of either the Eagles or the Giants and we are in the playoffs as there is pretty much no way two other teams (Atlanta and Green Bay)finish ahead of us in the overlal standings.

If we get to 9-3 then yes I am serious.

And I dont do the week to week roller coaster BS that 95% of fans fall into.

Its still big picture to me and if our offense is our biggest worry than im cool with that because I have faith theyll get it going...AGAIN...

We play two of the hottest teams in the league, the Saints and Chargers. And we play the Skins and Eagles.

We could go anywhere from 0-4 to 4-0 in those games, so to say the division is a "done deal" after the next two games is ********.

The rastafarian CB for the Packers is gone for the year with a torn ACL.

Al Harris.

And Aaron Kampman, their pass rusher extraordinaire, is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Those two injuries are going to hurt, big time. And the Packers still have to play the Ravens and Steelers.

we'd be 9-3 heading into the last games. If we split the final 4 we'd be at 11-5. Thats a playoff spot for sure this year. And probably the division.

If you don't take the division at 11-5, you're probably in the NFC Beast.

Nope, some people think things are just fine and we are still waiting to break out. Not sure where that confidence comes from?

Well, i think the division may come down to that final Philly game at home. We MUST beat Oakland...it is a MUST WIN. Then finish the 5 games either 2-3 or 3-2. It will come down to December again.

The confidence comes from winning. We are 7-3, we are at least a pretty good team and as fans why not be confident? I live close to the cincy area and despite the oakland debacle today, you would think the bengals are the freakin' 85' bears around here. They are 7-3 and everyone is all over them like flies on a rib roast.

PS I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not links18

Dude, are YOU insane? We've watched our team come incredibly close to being shut out in back to back games.

Counting on w's vs anyone, let alone teams like the Giants, Chargers, Saints and Eagles is wishful thinking with the way we're playing right now.

Your probably right but we have won 5 out of the last 6 so its not as bad as it seems right now.

If our defense can play this kind of football than we will be tough to stop because this Offense isn't going to be a touchdown a game type of offense the rest of the year.

No way no how.

Remember two weeks ago we were the hottest team in the league... That was two weeks ago, and now the sky is falling... Things change fast. The Giants lost 4 in a row, all of a sudden they beat Atl. at home IN OVERTIME and they are again a force to be reconed with... ?

I don't get it either. I have never been more confident in our ability to fold in December as I am this year.
