they put out alot of money for rivers, i think it was a mistake for them to get him in the first place... more of an impact receiver wouldhave been good for them, the chargers with roy williams for example or kellen winslow would be crazy.. i think that brees will be with another team next year unless he keeps his great performance, in which case rivers would be traded, but i'm not sure who would want him... probably arizona, but the price would be pretty hefty

Young QB's usally take time to develop and the Chargers got over exited with a young QB's struggles that happen. Now they burnt all the money on Rivers they will have to trade drew nwxt year if he is not a FA. They will make the playoffs this year then take a step back to losing because they are paying rivers all that money he will start.
