Joseph was drafted in 2021 and is on his 1st contract. IMO the team keeps him to see if the can a return on their investment.
I think he sucks bigtime and want him cut but I do not think the team will do it.

There has to be someone better than what he is offering on special teams. They would have to be quite a bit better than joseph for him to be cut

I want to see Joseph succeed. But this was probably the right move.
He's not ready. We can use him on ST, but he's got some work to do before we start him out there at CB again, apparently.
My hopes were probably a bit too high on this player, but I already ate my crow before Doron Bland got the start, I said he should have started when they started Joseph. So, not trying to cling to being right on something I was wrong about, which is what I suspect happened with the Joneses starting Joseph. I was just hoping the coaches could get the best out of him this season. Didn't happen. In the offseason, I would like to see the Cowboys address his mental issues, which are nothing to shame him about. But those need to be fixed before we'll be able to count on him in a starting role, if that ever happens.

Think about it for a second. Kid has to go right back on the field as a corner after running nearly the length of a football field covering a kick or punt.

Yeah, because he's a full-time defensive end now.
Not nearly as effective since making the full-time transition.
Plus, we need LVE back.
Parsons was pretty key on that last fumble, if you go back and look at that play. Parsons hit the hole, caused the back to change directions and get squirrely before he fumbled.

I'm starting to think Diggs needs to ride the pine for a while when he get's destroyed by double moves or his lack of interceptions are causing him to gamble more than he needs to. Quinn needs to slow Diggs roll..................

He's not the only player who has to do that.
