No QB gets a new deal just based off of having some good drives in the preseason. I get some are eager to move on but at least we should see what Lance does in the regular season (If he ever starts) before wanting to see the front office give him a bunch of money. Because while his contract may be cheaper than Dak's. It will probably still be a hefty one. As I don't see Lance's agent settling for truly cheap contract, if he can convince Jerry that Lance is going to live up to his draft status and win the Cowboys a Super Bowl.
