Los Lonely Boys release Dallas Cowboys theme song

Back about 4 years ago I was bartending a big night club in San Angelo (where the Los Lonelely Boys live) and one of them came into the club. He spent the entire night demanding service from me, I basically did nothing but pour tequila shots for him and the hundreds of people he was buying for. I set a sales record that night of just over $4,000, the previous high for a non special event night was barely over $2,000. That sorry piece of trash did not tip me even one quarter. Nothing...I worked my tail off for him all night long and left with the same amount of money I walked in the door with. I refuse to listen to thier music, and have vowed I will tell this story pretty much everytime someone brings them up.

The 70's Outlaws Stuff is my alltime favorite music, Waylon, Willie, Kris, Hank Jr. and even some Johnny. The only new guy to come out in the last 10-15 years that I really like is Jamey Johnson. If you are not familiar with him I highly reccomend giving him a listen.
I second this. He is the best right now.

Brad Paisley is another I recommend.

The Wife and I saw Brad Paisley opening for Reba Mcentire a few years ago in Charlotte NC. It was a good show. I would say that he is a better guitar player than singer. That duet he did with Allison Kraus a few years ago was just a awesome piece of music though.

I have now seen Hank Jr in concert 16 times, his son, Hank 3 puts on a great show live. If you ever liked Riders on The Storm you should go check out 3 Shades of Black by Hank 3.

One of the very best country songs I have ever heard.

You have some good taste in music as well as football teams there Hostile.

Unlike most here. I like country music. Jamey Johnson is the bomb, but Toby Keith is still my favorite. "Should Have Been A Cowboy".

I realize that, except for the brief clip in the intro, this doesn't really have to do with the Cowboys... but it's still the song I most associate with the team.

I used to watch the beginning of the show just to see that brief shot of Texas Stadium.

Allison Krauss and Rhonda Vincent, IMO, are the best two female artists going right now. But because a lot of their work is in a genre that doesn't get the pub, it often goes unnoticed. From a pure musical standpoint, they are fantastic.

BTW, this song was co-written by an old boy from Dallas. John Randall. I think he co wrote it with Whispering Bill Anderson.

Back in the early 90's there was a NFL Country Album that came out. Several coaches and players from those Cowboys teams had songs on it. My favorite was Troy Aikman and Waylon Jennings doing a song called We Love The Good Dallas Cowboys. I have looked everywhere to download it but have never found it. Anybody on here have it in MP3 format?
I have that album in WMA format, and the four Dallas Cowboys songs in MP3 format. Send me your email address by PM.

Since this has turned into a country music thread. I always like the Sara Evans and Vince Gill duet singing, No Place That Far.

If them both totally sucking and writing souless, melodyless, nonlasting music is comparing them then yes.
Under suckage they are both there.
BTW,music is one thing i do excel in.

hahaha

i would love to hear some of your "music"

and i can't emphasize the ironic quotes enough

ill take martyBs song over all of this junk!

but in my opinion there is no good and bad music, if there is one person out there who likes something then it is good music, it all is in the ear of the beholder!

this is from someone who likes everything from eminem to james blunt.
theres alot of stuff i don't care for, but who am i to say it is any better or worse then what i like? i got a little cousin who loves the jonas brothers.. if someone in the world loves it, how can it be bad? its just not your thing.
